"We arrived in Gualala several hours before we expected. We were tired and thought we'd ask, just on the chance, if there would be any possibility of an early check in. The woman who was in the office was extremely accommodating and moved us into another room, which made the early check in possible. Thanks!"
"Abalone Point is a wonderful home for an extended family reunion. My large family, consisting of four siblings and our spouses, spent three nights here. We loved the spacious layout and great kitchen facilities. The beautifully decorated home features multiple indoor and outdoor spaces for spending time together, while allowing for separation when a bit of space apart is needed. The fourth bedroom in the Casita was great for the late-to-bed, late-to-rise couple. There are good local dining spots if you're not in Sea Ranch to cook, but we made good use of the excellent kitchen facilities every night. The Wi-Fi worked well and consistently throughout our stay. Although we took one side adventure to Fort Ross, we spent most of this trip walking the bluffs, hanging out on Shell Beach and at Gualala Point, playing games, and simply enjoying each other's company at the beautiful home. I personally loved the handmade octopi in the bedrooms. More adventurous travelers can explore the northern coast, kayak on the river, or head into the wine country. If you love Sea Ranch and want to share it with family and friends, Abalone Point is a great place to stay. "

"Spot was amazing… a few maintenance issues but the real kicker was how terrible and unresponsive the property mgt company was. The house sleeps 6 but only 4 chairs at the dining table. Resolution? Nope. Many screens missing on windows, some were rusted shut. Resolution? Nope. Had to call b/c the garbage was full. Could only communicate via chat and had to wait till the next day for a guy to come by. Tried to call and was on hold for 2.5 hrs. "Great location and great size. The house is architecturally beautiful but definitely needs some updates (gas heaters falling apart, window coverings not functional). That being said, the outdated-ness didn't really impact our enjoyment of the house and the area. More dish towels and more bed sheets would have been nice. Kitchen was more updated and relatively well stocked. "
"Beautiful house with a nice view of the ocean and deer in the yard. Kitchen was well stocked. We made dinner one of the nights and we were not wanting for anything. There is a very nice 6-7 mile trail right along the coast line that is easily accessible walking from the house. Beach is nice too. 4th of July weekend and barely anyone was there. Host was super responsive to our only issue during our stay, which was my fault. I walked outside without keys and the door locked behind us. Will definitely stay again."

"We loved our stay! The house is big, beautiful, and very well maintained. It was very clean, and we enjoyed the hot tub and gourmet kitchen. All I needed was a private chef to make it perfect! Ha ha! We loved walking down to Shell Beach and even just hanging out on the deck. We were sad to leave, one week was just not enough!"
