We went up for a long weekend with kids. It was perfect to have them in the studio and us in the main house. The hot tub , pool table and shuffleboard were perfect to come together. We were attending a wedding one town over and stumbled upon Eagle’s Landing while perusing online listings. The setup is great for families, there is plenty of room to spread out. While we were not able to use the backyard due to our short stay, the backyard amenities cover a wide gamut. Nice grill, pizza oven, outdoor kitchen prep space, pool table and hot tub. The kids loved it; wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely come back when we have a chance.And of course, the biggest draws were the ocean views and the calming sounds of the waves.One small suggestion. The bathrooms can use some brighter lights. Since we were attending a wedding, the ladies had a lot of make-up to do, and the lighting was a little muted in the bathrooms. We were amazed to discover the incredible covered backyard area with Jacuzzi, shuffleboard table, pool table, and a nice fire table, with lots of chairs and tables and a huge outdoor barbeque and sink, towels, dishes, etc. A perfect place to relax with family! And it had a beautiful view down the Gualala beach, from the outdoor game area and the main unit balcony. We loved the privacy, not a lot of people on the beaches. We went to Cook's beach, Gualala river and a cove near bye. Our teenage grandkids enjoyed the evening in the outdoor patio area playing shuffle board and we all relaxed in the jacuzzi. We saw deer from the deck and some whale in the evening in the ocean exhaling air from their blowholes, through the binoculars. We had a lot of great family time. Thank you for sharing your home. The only thing negative was there were only a few garbage bags and plastic bags, one roll of paper towels so we had to purchase these items. The listing calls it a studio and it's perfect. It has its own kitchen with all the basic stuff you need plus more. We mainly used the main house kitchen for all our cooking and dining but it was nice to have the separation when kids had to nap or need quiet time from each other. The back patio amenities are all great! Hot tub, pool table, shuffle board, gas fire pit, lounge chairs and tables plus outdoor dining set. Very well thought of amenities. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shopping, etc. Overall, an amazing home in a great location. So many things to do and everything you need. We had a few minor hiccups which need to be remedied by the owner. Regarding the pizza oven, we had a pizza night and cooked several pizzas. Unfortunately one side of the oven does not have a working burner unless someone holds down the button continuously. The igniter is gone. In addition, we found the hot tub water to be quite cloudy. We called the VACASA office in town, using the number listed in the welcome binder. We left a message as no one answered, even tho it was business hours. It was a weekday, with no holidays coming up, but we never received a return call and the hot tub was murky and cloudy the whole time we were there. ICK! Also the patio needed a good cleaning, sink, sweeping, etc. We love this place and it was better last year when we stayed. Seems to lack attention currently. ##### Kathy T.
