"The property description and photos were what drew me to book my stay at Landhuis Francia. It was truly a far cry from the pictures. The property was run down and unkept, with untidy common areas and dirty dishes left on the kitchen counters and in the sink. The pool was dirty - obviously between cleanings - and the poolhouse looked like it hadn't been cleaned for some time. I did not receive instructions on how to get into the property in a timely fashion and my boyfriend had to climb the fence...

My partner and I loved travelling across Curacao and hitting up all the different beaches during our the day but ending our day at kalki, watching the sunset, going for a swim and grabbing a drink from the resort bar next door was always the perfect way to cap off our afternoons. The rooms were good, the hotel was well maintained, the beach was awesome, and the amount of chairs and infrastructure on the beach was very satisfactory. The staff was also friendly. The only thing that did not catch my attention in this hotel were the restaurants (nothing remarkable). We preferred to have our meals in the boulevard OR in the capital. Much better options.
