There is no breakfast at this locatIon despite that being advertised. The pool was replaced by more parking lot. The management were friendly and they and the owners appear to be making an effort to improve the property but this will be no small task after so many years of neglect. The property is undergoing renovations but is still run down. Non smoking rooms still have 40 years worth of smoke odor. Housekeeping needs work. They didn’t come at all during our stay. When we checked in the rooms were still relatively dirty. Bed linens didn’t appear to be cleaned. Toiler paper is hard to come by. The locks in two of the rooms we stayed in didn’t work at all. You could just walk in. I read some previous reviews and some of them are accurate but, to be fair, doesn’t seem to be as bad so this property may get better with time with the new owners.

It was disgusting. Filthy, I felt I was in a drug den. I felt very insecured about my safety. I couldn’t find another hotel because the event in the area took away any chance to stay from that horrible hotel that night. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO MAKE ANY RESERVATIONS at that filthy disgusting place.

Room was very nasty, especially the floors and the shower. Smelled of marijuana and cigarettes in a NON smoking room. People in rooms surrounding were up and noisy ALL night long waking kids up, found a weapon on top of the microwave, mold growing above the outside of the bathroom door, pot in a drawer, phone didn't work, and open condoms in another drawer in the desk.

Mold in bathroom, holes in sheets, dirty pillow, gap in door, poor lighting, and the phone had busy signal all weekend in which the staff told me to just unplug it.

I went to check in and when we opened the door the man in front had no smile did not greet. All he did was shake his head no because he had no rooms available and I said no, we are here to check in and he just held his hand up with 3 fingers trying to tell us to check in at 3pm and so I just walked out and didn’t come back inside nor did I check in.

Negative issues: 1) floor was sticky to bare feet. No particular area, evidently cleaning product. 2) Non smoking handicap room smelled of cigarette smoke. 3)vigorous NO PETS policy yet there was a large (sounding) dog incessantly barking next door. 4) Exit onto very busy highway view toward oncoming traffic very obstructed due to tall landscape planting.5) Bathroom floor in accessible bathroom sloped away from shower, yielding water puddle in front of door. Bad for mobility challenged!

My sister and i booked this for a memorial ride. Check in was OK. The bed was comfortable. The room reeked of Marijuana so we had to take a trip to Walmart to get candles and air freshener! The phone had particles of something all over it. It was not the cleanest room, something smeared in the walls that i don't even want to say what it looked like. The same in the bathroom. The outlet was not secure which could be a hazard. Overall, i was not impressed. We were a little creeped out by the whole place.

Due to COVID there's no lobby access, while the statement says food is limited - it's NONE. All interaction is through the night window so expected some sort of sign but there were not so I kept trying to go through the lobby doors to find them stopped. When I got there, which didn't seem so late, the worker was outside and would have seen me park and walk in. He took quite a while to come back inside for me to check in. He didn't care for my town, for some reason, so not to a great start. Property seems to need attention. Room seemed very worn. Mold was on the bed skirt. 2 roaches were found at different points in the stay. Marks on the mattress seemed to give an indication of prior bugs without replacing the mattress. Toilet was not steady and rocked in use. At checkout they seemed to be in a rush and didn't ask me how was my stay. I would have brought up the bed skirt & toilet had they asked. Room was available where I needed was the good point. I should have done more research to find there's a Comfort & Country Inn a few doors down. Other locations Quality Inns have been great but this was not good in comparison to my other stays in different cities. If I come back to the area I definitely won't stay here.
