"What a gem! If you are looking for a charming and affordable place to stay in the London area, look no further. Located in adorable Godalming and a quick 45-min train ride into the heart of London, the Rose and Crown was perfect for our family of 4. We stayed in the Juliet room, which has two separate sleeping areas: a very comfortable queen bedroom with en-suite, and a secluded little Hobbit room for kids (the beds are small, so it’s not ideal for taller teenagers). The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the gal serving breakfast twice prepared us a to-go pastry box for us to eat on the train as we raced out the door in the morning. On this vacation, we stayed in 5 different inns across England, and Rose and Crown was our favorite."
"We stayed here during a work trip. It was a great place to rest and spend time in the room. They have a bottom floor that’s underground that one of the staff put us in when we arrived early but was so appalling that we asked to change. The room we got was wonderful on the 1st floor, I don’t know if they see Expedia and just give you the worst room but it’s not the first time its happened in London. I also needed to upload 50gb and although the staff didn’t know how to help, we figured out ourselves that the internet is is way faster in the conference room close to the router that in our actual room, which saved me. It’s a great place to stay if you’re in town for work or pleasure. Would recommend. "

"Amazing apartment. Beautifully decorated and upgraded. Perfectly clean. Private well-kept garden. Large parking spot. Clean neat driveway. Everything was thought of ...tea, coffee, milk, dishsoap,shampoo,soap, even laundry pods!!!! Absolutely worthwhile.. wish we had known about this with our many visits to Guildford previously - would have avoided some horrors!Rent with no trepidation and full expectation of perfect!"
"I had incorrectly booked the wrong dates foe my stay at this property which was a non refunderable booking with no option to alter or cancel. I contacted Hotels.com whpbafter speaking with the owners arranged my booking to be moved to the actual dates i required free of charge. The owners were under no obligation to do this but still allowed it without chargine me. I am very greatful for this as it was my error in the first place. On arriving at thw properrt i was blown away by the standard of it. It was more than £300 cheaper rhan than the closest hotel for the period of my booking and the accomodation was excellent. It is situatued on am amzing site and i thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I would highly recommend tgis properrty to anyone."
