The hotel is beautiful, really modern and the rooms are huge. A huge bed with a separate shower and toilet. The only downside of the rooms is that they are pretty dark and no air con (though they were providing fans). The bar is lovely, with a great drinks selection. A short walk to many restaurants and nearby train stations, a great hub to base yourself if visiting Hamburg.

"As with most German hotels there was an issue! When you arrive in the afternoon after a few hours on the road and want to book a table for dinner later you don't want to hear that that might not be possible due to a large group arriving later. In the end we managed, and we did not see any large group ..."
