Better than expected

Posted 01-May-2016
Booked here at the last minute for a 5k race my husband was running. Room was bigger than I expected, a few random stains but overall clean. Check in was quick and painless, the woman was extremely nice. Breakfast was waffles, bagels, yogurt, nothing out of the ordinary. Only downside was the bed was a little harder than I am used to. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Off the busy highway

Poor breakfast. Breakfast staff unfriendly, manager not helpful, nor understanding people's need. Workers appears tired and overworked except the cleaners. Going through a third party to book became a hinderance when common courtesy was needed.

The staff was friendly, very responsive and helpful. The room was fine and clean but I would have liked a coffee machine in the room. There was coffee available 24 hours in the lobby.

Nothing to say it was just bad. I don't. Have anything more to say. Thank you I'm done typing. I'm not going into detail about my stay here it was only one night. Very loud people around me running in halls.

Please DO Disturb

Posted 26-Mar-2016
I chose this hotel due to its location to Vidant Medical Center as well as the cost. I found it to be very disappointing because I would be in need of serious sleep when I went there and the walls are so thin I could hear the person in the room next to me snoring and in the other room next to me I could hear the tv playing and conversations of those who rented that room. Housekeeping and yard maintenance were also audible distractions. Also the carpet did not look very clean and there were stains on the cushion that served as a window seat. That was my first and my last time staying at a Microtel Inn and Suites.

March Vacation

Posted 20-Mar-2016
The hotel staff was excellent, especially the clerk who checked me in! They were friendly ama helpful. Provided menus when I wanted to order food delivery and gave recomendations. The room was clean. I had never stayed at a microtel before so I was not prepared for how small the room was. Also there is little sound barrier between rooms. I could hear the baby crying from 2 rooms away. There was a loud party at about 2am, however when I called the front desk they took care of it immediately. I probably would not stay again just because of the room size. But if you are looking for a clean comfortable bed, it's worth the price!
