Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Just a few steps from the pebbly shore of Moosehead Lake, this family-sized lodge will delight your whole group. Step out of the fully-equipped kitchen into the screened porch to enjoy the crisp morning air. Stoke up a fire in the firepit by the beach to end your day at the lake. This lodge is ideal for boaters, as there's a dock in the backyard and a public boat launch around the corner. If you bring an ATV with you, there's a trailhead about a mile away. The pebbly beach is a mere 30 feet away, and central Greenville is about two miles down the road. Even when you're indoors, you can admire the beauty of the lake from the living room's floor-to-ceiling windows. Retreat to the finished basement for a movie night; there's also additional sleeping space there, as well as walk-out sliding glass doors. Although we love to open our home to people, we do not accept pets as some of our family have serious allergies to pet dander which can put them in medical crisis. We strive to maintain a healthy and safe space for our own family and for those that are afflicted with similar allergies. Our goal is to host that safe space where everyone can enjoy the home and all that the Moosehead Lake region has to offer. Reserve this lodge for your family's next lake retreat! Security camera details: There are four surveillance cameras on the exterior at the property. Cameras are active when the property is vacant for security purposes. Dock details: The heavy duty commercial dock is 25 feet in length. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The house is lovely and the property and dock are the reason we keep coming back. We have a 23 foot boat and it fits perfectly at the dock and gives us quick access to the amazing lake. Big, functional kitchen. Huge screened-in front porch. Right on the water with a dock for our boat. Used the fire pit and the grill almost every day. Also loved the room to leave shoes and gear as we came back from hikes and other day adventures. Cons: the property was not ready at the time promised. We had no communication regarding this and, coming from Texas, we had nowhere else to go while the cleaning crew scrambled to get the lodge cleaned and ready. We also had access to very few towels. We were provided only one per person for a week-long rental and no towels were provided for the lake at all. There is also no place to put trash and recycling and no instructions to be found regarding this anywhere. We had bags of trash and returnables piling up in the screened-in porch area the entire week. The lodge owner “Tony” provided shelves full of movies on VHS and also posted signs about not stealing from his movie collection, which felt awkward and unnecessary. To boot, the VCR is neither hooked up nor functional. Be aware that there are only two small window air conditioners and they cannot possibly cool the entire lodge. The bedroom/bathroom on the very top floor was uncomfortably warm even at night with the windows open. Be prepared for lots of signs about what you cannot use/access/touch/take, but not a single sign welcoming you. Lastly, the lodge is very close the main road, train tracks, and a large restaurant/bar, so know that there will be plenty of noise from traffic, trains, and voices carrying across the water from the bar. Overall, disappointed in our experience, especially considering the price. In all our years of renting vacation homes, we have never left negative comments about a property. But there were just too many let downs with this place. Next year, we will look for a quieter location that is managed by friendly people who are happy to share their space. Beautiful house and very cool layout - very open while also having very cozy nooks. The outdoor screened-in porch is as cool in person as it looks in the ad. We spent many bug-free nights enjoying the sights and sounds of the lake. The view is amazing and the proximity to downtown an access to the lake is as good as it gets. We rented a boat for 2 days of our stay and I would highly recommend it. The lake is almost more accessible by boat than by car, and having a dock right on the property to call home base made renting the boat the best decision we made during our stay. ##### Shawn M. Right on the lake with a dock and just minutes from down town. The house itself was nice but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and were definitely not queen size. Also, the grill didn’t work.
