I lost my home about 5 months ago and every since then Ive been living in and out of hotel rooms. Usually they are clean and comfy nothing to fancy but its a sleep for the night, needless to say East Carolina is one of my favorites, well at least it was. After booking a room with my last 70 dollars I checked into what was a nightmare. The covers has been pulled back, body prints in the sheets, bathroom/towels dirty and trash every where. It was obvious the room hadnt been clean from its previous guest. I thought although its inconvenient, I will just asked to be moved to another room. Sadly the desk attendee told me they didnt have any more rooms and that I couldn't receive clean linen because he couldnt sell me the room. I told him the room has already been sold because my money is gone. He responds "I WILL TELL THE MANAGER IN THE MORNING" Not like that does me any good for the moment. I then had to contact hotels.com who were more than helpful. They found me a upgraded hotel near by that was walking distance, and even apologized for the inconvenience of the hotel. Just add 6 more dollars and stay at the Quality Inn. Its worth it!
