When a Suite is not so Sweet

Pros: The price was reasonable, which allowed me to rationalize my stay there.
Cons: A more consistent WIFI. Sometimes it would work well while other times it was weak and limited
Location: The location is fine as the city of Greenville is small and pretty much everything is within a short drive from the property location.
The property refers to their "spacious" suites and perhaps they have some but the room I was assigned was smaller than most hotel rooms other than it contained a kitchenette about 4 foot from the bed. I had to unplug the refrigerator because the hum was overbearing and usually nothing prevents me from falling asleep. Perhaps less use of the word "spacious" would eliminate customer disappointment. The bathroom have was somewhat spacious considering the room's size, but its configuration was odd. There were very few places to place your toiletries other that a small wooden shelf over the commode and a strange tray inserted in the middle of the shower tub where the hotel placed their commodities. I imagine if one was inclined to take a "spa bath" the tub tray would make sense. The sink was a very basic model designed in such a way that it was practically impossible to place anything but the soap bar on it.

Very nice Hotel,Quiet,But still close to Town

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Could of used a regular ice machine. We had hot showers for days.

I had wonderful stay, however I believe I was charged twice for the room, I paid for my room on hotel.com and then when I arrived at the candlewood suite, the front desk rep stated that the card that hotel.com used was denied so I believe my car was swiped twice for the amount $109.13.

Everything was very nice. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Greenville requiring a hotel. The pantry cupboard could have been stocked more frequently. The ran out of milk.

Pros: convenience and close to shopping areas
Cons: Nothing
Location: Location is great which its close to all restaurants, shopping stores and highway
My stay at Candlewood was very enjoyable and the staff very pollite which made my stay that much more enjoyable, I could not have chosen a better place to stay on my vacation.

Noisy neighbors

The hotel was nice but our room was in a block of rooms rented by some company and they were a rowdy group. On one side of our room, a guest's alarm clock went off at 3am and he didn't turn it off until 6:45 am. I made numerous calls to the front desk but the alarm kept going off. Then on the other side of our room, a female guest fought with another guest. She screamed and slammed doors. Again I called the front desk and the clerk apologized and said she would have the manager call me on Monday morning to give me a refund or compensate me in some other way. To date no one has contacted me nor have I received any compensation for the room.
