"When spending the extra money on a riverview suite, be sure to ask them if it's a full or partial view. I was switched from my double queen to a single king and the riverview I paid extra for was barely visible. 90% of my "view" was the parking lot and building beside the property. The happy hour was mediocre with crackers, cheese, salsa, and tortilla chips. There was also a bowl of trail mix. There was limited seating so I ended up standing along the wall to eat. The breakfast was pretty much what you would expect from any major brand hotel offering a 'hot breakfast". Eggs, bacon, cereal, bagels... the norm. They did have a made-to-order omelette station which is typical for Embassy Suites. With the hotel being in such a nice area, I expected more as I have visited mulitple Embassy Suites across the country. This one was just ok."

"Hotel is old and the shower leaked from the pocket light and then into the main room. Maintenance was frustrated and we were moved to a new room with two double beds. The shower handle fell off in this room. The place needs a huge makeover "

"This house is lovely inside and out! Spacious yet cozy and well furnished. Kitchen had everything we needed available. The front porch is amazing and we spent most of our time there, THe location if fabulous - very walkable to all of downtown, I highly recommend this property!"
