Excellent location

Posted 23-Aug-2015
Overall the hotel was good. Room was clean, comfy and spacious. Staff were polite and helpful although think they might be short staffed. Hotel is in a great location, just minutes from the centre of the city and train stations. The only thing that let this hotel down was the standard of breakfast. Scrambled eggs looked congealed and like someone had already eaten it! Sausages were poor quality too. I have stayed in similar standard hotels but for less money. I don't think I got value for money with this hotel.

A hidden gem in the centre of Glasgow.

Pros: The location, friendly helpful staff and excellent value for money.
Cons: Nothing i can think of.
Location: The locaton is central to shops, theatres and lots of places to eat and drink. Close to train stations and bus station too .
This is the first time i have used this hotel and was very impressed. The location was spot on and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was lovely with an extensive choice to suit most tastes We will certainly use this hotel again.

nice clean comfortable

Posted 15-Aug-2015
Pros: clean rooms
Cons: breakfast free of charge
Location: Location perfect, easy to do the many cultural activities around
Albeit a very pleasant hotel, at the price of £80 per person per night I really do think breakfast should have been included free of charge

Lovely Hotel

Posted 14-Aug-2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable; the second room they gave me was quiet (505); and the location was great.
Cons: Free use of computer to print boarding pass
Location: Within one block of Buchanan-everything is nearby
This hotel is very central to downtown Glasgow, but, the sign for it is high on the building and not immediately where you would look. Check in was easy. Lugging the suitcase up the entry stairs was not. I would advise you to ask for an inside room, as the traffic noise was awful at night.

Great location close to the hub of city centre.

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. For tea lovers the electric kettle and assortment of teas was a bonus. The location was perfect being close to some terrific restaurants & shopping. Reasonable value helpful staff. I would book here again.

Angenehmes Hotel im Zentrum der Stadt.

Posted 28-Jul-2015
Pros: Lage
Cons: Eigentlich nicht. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
Location: vgl.

Comfortable hotel in the center of everything

Posted 21-Jul-2015
I arrived exhausted a little early for check in and they let me check in and sleep anyway. The room was huge and had everything I needed. It was a three minute walk to George Square and ten minute walk to O2 nightclub where I took in a concert. Although it was central, it was quiet for sleeping get. I'd stay again. I wanted laundry service but it was unavailable on Sunday. They should have told me that when I let them know I'd need when I booked.

Pros: The location.
Cons: The shower is silly and it is impossible to avoid getting water all over the bathroom floor. Water pressure is weak. The breakfast was under par.
Location: Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Half hour walk to Kelvingrove Museum, which was really enjoyable.
Aircon is noisy. Bed was OK. Shower was not good, and the bathroom is huge but the space is mostly empty. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were rubbery and tasteless. I would recommend getting your breakfast elsewhere. The restaurant menu is uninspiring and was empty except for at breakfast time. The staff are pleasant enough. The lift had an unpleasant smell.

5 mins for hot water

Posted 13-Jul-2015
Pros: Location two blocks from the square.
Cons: upgrade quality of kitchen, more comfortable chairs - two people need two chairs, offer face cloths for guests that want them.
Location: Lots of shopping and good access to the tourist sites,
no wash clothes, only one chair and not a good one, bad and expensive breakfast and dinner as well.
