Fine hotel, good location

Posted 30-Apr-2016
The room was fine, if sort of small. Staff was reasonably helpful. Breakfast was nice. The location was perfect - close to the Central Station and the airport link bus. There are quite a few steps up to reception (with bags), so this hotel would not be for everyone.

Very centrally situated and easy to access ammenit

Posted 10-Apr-2016
Pros: Handy for the location of my work that week
Cons: Lots of steps up to front door which foe elderly visitors could be improved with a handrail for safety and support, especially if you have a heavy bag
Location: For inexpensive food a Weatherspoons is right next door!!
Extremely pleasant members of staff. However on first day my towels were not changed in the bathroom!!

Great hotel in a fantasic location

Posted 21-Mar-2016
Pros: Pretty much everything. Fantastic location right in the centre, nice and modern hotel and great staff.
Cons: We didn't have any problems.
Location: Great city centre location so everything you need is right outside the hotel. Pubs/bars, restaurants and shops. you're only 2 mins from Buchanan st
Stayed in this hotel with a friend for two nights. on arrival we were checked in by a lovely woman who was very chatty and friendly. We stayed in a double room which was...well huge really and was perfectly clean. Lovely modern en-suite with a good shower. Never stayed at the hotel for food as always went out so cant comment on that.

Prison Cell

Posted 19-Mar-2016
Facilities In hotel ok, but room was like a prison cell, sparsely furnished with a small 2 foot square window looking into the office building opposite. Could get better in Glasgow for less.

Great for sleep, but not to eat. (Breakfast)

Nice hotel, but let down by poor breakfast service. Poor selection of hot food. Long wait for fresh food. This hotel takes self service breakfast to the extreme.(Make your own tea, coffee, toast etc.)

Might stay again

Posted 03-Feb-2016 on Hotels
I had booked 2 rooms. Both were clean and comfortable enough. Only problem with the rooms was that one of the water bottles looked as though it had been used and was half empty. We met other friends staying for a drink in the bar in the evening and the service was extremely slow. We waited about quarter of an hour for drinks to be served, there was only 1 person at the bar a couple seated nearby, then almost half an hour to pay, just to be told it would be added to the room. The system seemed complicated and we wouldn't order anymore drinks. Would probably stay again as location is great but quite expensive for not great service.
