Spacious, modern hotel in the heart of Glasgow

Posted 27-Mar-2017
Pros: Breakfast, proximity to shopping, dining options in the area
Cons: There were no drawers in the rooms, only closets which was inconvenient for a 4-night stay. Also I would have loved to had a mini fridge in the room.
Location: Shopping, dining, museums
Great hotel in the heart of the city centre! Close to everything. 2 blocks from Buchanan Street, closer to the Buchanan Galleries. Great area - bustling nightlife, but definitely not too loud at night. The rooms are very large for a city hotel, comfortable and clean. No drawers in the rooms, and no couches - very minimalist. Hotel has a functioning elevator, and serves a buffet breakfast in the morning complete with eggs, beans, toast, sausage, bacon, and even haggis (fruits, cheeses, and cereals also available). We were able to access the airport bus at two stops within 1-2 blocks of the hotel, which was very convenient. Staff is helpful and efficient. Great place to stay!

Centrally located little gem!

Posted 27-Feb-2017
Pros: Loved the staff, location and value.
Cons: this is more a personal preference than improvement - I like a really hard bed and the bed provided was a little soft for my taste
Location: The hotel is centrally located. 5 minute walk to Sauciehall and maybe 15 minutes to Glasgow Cathedral. I also passed two train stations in my walks.
You cannot ask for a better location in central Glasgow. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Sauciehall and is central to various transportation hubs. My room was very comfortable and clean. It had all the amenities I would want. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend the Radisson as very good value for someone visiting Glasgow.

Nice Hotel

Posted 20-Feb-2017
Pros: Great location to everything!
Cons: There was a smell of cigarettes in the hallway that I could've done without, and it was rather noisy at night.
Location: This hotel is really close to shopping, George Square, Merchant City, Sauchiehall, & The Royal Concert Hall.
A friend and I stayed here for three nights. It was a perfect location for us as our event was at the Royal Concert Hall. The restaurant downstairs was great. All members of staff were very friendly. The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable enough. There was no bathtub though, just the shower. Only problem was it got really noisy at night.

Great location - comfy clean bed.

Posted 30-Jan-2017
Pros: Clean nice room!
Cons: Size of the bathroom was an issue - !
Location: Very central - great location!! We were at the SECC - worked well!
Great central location. Hotel was really nice, room was very clean, lovely comfy bed - only drawback was the size of the bathroom - tiny, had to come out to get dried after shower! Could hardly turn round in it - think we were unlucky, only there for one night though so it was manageable!. Also need a credit card on your room to have a drink at the bar after 12, we didn't know about beforehand! Had very little bar stock anyway! Wouldn't stop us booking again though!.

City Centre hotel

Posted 22-Jan-2017
Pros: Convenient
Location: City Centre - so shopping, eating, drinking and probably some sight seeing if you are there long enough.
I stayed here as a convenient location on a Monday night. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant but there are plenty nearby. A good place to sleep but not for anything much more.

I will definitely stay here again. It's an ideal location in the city centre, and the hotel it's self was perfect good sized rooms and friendly staff.
