"Really good value, massive comfy bed. Free games in the hotel such as darts and poole a massive plus. Expensive drinks but we found this to be standard throughout Reading, London prices! Great location at the top of town. "
"I met up with my daughter who I hadnt seen for nearly 5years. She lives in NewZdealand. I cant think of a nicer place to reunite after so long, thank you!"
"Had an amazing night away to celebrate our anniversary. The room was incredible and the bed was so comfortable. Nick was lovely and provided us with an ice bucket and glasses so we could enjoy a bottle of Champagne we’d been gifted. We’re already planning on visiting again and have recommended the hotel to friends."
"Excellent service as I requested a happy birthday message to my husband and it turned out to be a few balloons, warm bday card in the room plus 2 free drinks at the bar. All staffs were friendly and helpful.
Location is great, big car park £6 for 24hours parking. Bus to town is just outside. Breakfast was lovely, good range of choices, my daughter especially enjoyed the yogurt drinks and the mixed bowls. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room are small, but still able to enjoy for about 10 mins in the hot room during the 30 mins session. Must book in advance!! Whole environment is nicer than I expected with lovely staffs which gave us a pleasant stay."

"Most wonderful place on earth! Gorgeous property, warm & attentive staff in every position and the most sublime food. I cannot say enough good things and the marvelous staff should all be commended. Peter who welcomed me at the car park, Becky & Theo at reception who settled me in to the lovely Hollyhock room in the main house. In dining Sarah in the lounge, Caoimhe in the dining room, Edith at breakfast - and all the staff whose names I sadly can't remember made me feel welcome as a solo diner and left no need unmet - even needs I didn't realize I had! The glorious menu (best breakfast ever), the tasting at dinner. Sigh. So glad I took photos to make sure it wasn't just some fabulous dream. "
