Perfect for our visit to Grayling
The location of Woodland was perfect for our trip. It was near everything. It was nice and quiet. Very pleasant.

I like that they had a bunch of stuff for kids to do, they had a grilling area and a fire spot it was very nice. Also the room was very cozy!

Understanding office staff when we overslept and huge sunflowers growing outside our window. Close to road but related noise not loud enough to be annoying - obviously since we over slept! Great value!

Beautiful park-like grounds with lots of activities and a bike path across the street. The room was clean and spacious. Excellent accomadation for the price. My only issue was that our room was in the middle of a large group that was there for a party, and they were friendly and not noisy but we felt like we could not enjoy some of the nice outdoor amenities because several groups were already using them. Overall though a very nice place.

A Great Deal!!
This stop was perfect for the three of us and our 2 dogs. The easy access was a wonderful amenity. We only stayed one evening but wish we could have stayed longer.

I am accustomed to chain hotels and generally wary of "Mom and Pop" hotels. However, Woodland Motor Lodge was delightful. The room was clean and comfortabe and had recently been updated. The grounds were especially delightful and included lots of trees, a horseshow pit and other games, a a fire pit, picnic tables and a barbaecue grill. Across the street was a hike and bike trail. The place had personality unlike the rather sterile and all very similar chain offerings.

A nice little hideaway!
The property has so many outdoor activities available for all ages and its very peaceful and quiet. The room was A++ for cleanliness and well stocked with towels, soaps, etc. The layout of the property is very family friendly.

It is such a quaint little motel! The room was toasty warm when we arrived on this chilly winter night. The room was neat and clean, and it had such a nice scent that made us feel like we visiting family.

Very pleasant surroundings. Remote check in went well. Only problem was that the alarm clock was set for 5am. Annoying. Cleaners should be instructed to make sure alarms are silenced. Hair dryer did not work. No ice available. Otherwise, a good property for the price.

So sorry about the alarm. I just went into the room and the hair dryer was working so I am not sure what happened there. True, we don’t have an ice machine. I make ice out of my fridge but only a couple of trays at a time.

Lovely Place to Stay
As far as the needs go I have never had sheets as soft as they are here. It's like sleeping on and being covered by a cloud. Wow, very nice! The location is quiet and comfy. On the outskirts of town but close enough if you need anything. They are just minutes away from Hartwick Pines State Park. They have a short walking trail behind the motel thats quiet and easy to use. Overall it's a lovely place to stay. We hope to stay here again.
