Had a mini "heart attack" during my stay. I got into the room and since I was so exhausted, I laid down to take a nap. Then I heard my door rustling, open, and then shut really hard. Thankfully I had put the lock on the top of the door. I called down to the front desk and they said that they were checking rooms. Not a good look, Admiral Suites. The TV remote wasn't working, but thankfully a staff member switched it out. Also, the hallways just smelled off. Kind of like old cigarette smoke. But once I got into my room, the smell went away. The room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was set back, away from the main road traffic but food and shopping was less than a mile away.

You get what you pay for. The property is old and renovated and the first room I was given seemed truly uninhabitable from fire and water damage and just overuse. The second room was better, but I cleaned every surface myself and the wipes were so dirty, so I am not sure how well the rooms get wiped down between stays. I saw them starting renovations, so hopefully the place gets a much-needed makeover. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which was a relief to balance how grossed out I was by the property. I am not sure if the majority of rooms look more like our first or second room - if the first room, I would say don't book her until renovations are complete. If the second room is a better representation, just know that you get what you pay for (it's hands down the cheapest option in Annapolis).

The whole experience was horrible. The smell of the hotel is horrible along with all the construction that’s going on. The front desk staff was rude she had me waiting for 30 mins before checking me in. The hotel is old and runned down. Go somewhere else!

No light or light switch near bed. Had to walk across room, turn off floor lamp, and walk back to bed in a dark room. Only light in bathroom is behind you when standing in front of mirror; all you see in the mirror is a shadow on your face. Introduce your painters to masking tape. Motel 6 is a step up from this hotel.

My room had no lamps at all, only one light above the kitchen area. The couch and bed areas were incredibly dark since there were no lamps. There was no coffee pot, no cups for warm beverages. The tv wouldn’t turn on. The refrigerator and freezer were nonfunctional. I was not prepared for the lack of amenities (and never thought that light in a room would be considered an amenity). I was there for a race the next morning and had to be up and out before breakfast was set out. Had I not brought my own coffee and electric kettle, I would have had to go buy some somewhere. The staff was friendly and gave me a mug when I asked if I could have a coffee cup after I checked in. He found me one and wished me luck on my race.

Didn’t have room ready, had to wait for them to check with cleaning staff to see what was ready. Put an extra 150 hold on card said I’d be released on check out. Then said be 5-7 days to get money back after checking out. Couch had pull out bed but no sheets to use for our kids. I’m sure they’d have helped if we’d ask but feel it should have been done.

Smelled like cigarettes, did not have any silverware or pans to use in room, no conditioner, broken cabinets, very dirty, broken phone in the room and much more. I gave a two because the person that checked me in was very nice.

Everything was good. Had a quiet stay, everything worked. Shopping and dining was closeby. My car was safe. For the price, I couldn't ask have asked for much more. Only thing, I was there for 5 days and never had housekeeping visit my room. Maybe you have to request that service these days.

The room and cleanness were very good. It was obvious that they had removed thing off the wall s in the bathroom and left the plates they wer mounted on. They need to clean some of these things up. The door was difficult to open and fully close. The staff was nice

Perfectly fine considering
Our trip was over Veterans Day to watch the Navy game. Other hotels were extremely over priced at more than $500 per night in some cases. This one was very reasonable. The room is very outdated but very adequate. It was relatively clean with the only complaint being that the pull out sofa mattress was really disgusting. But if you don’t plan to use that then no worries. Everything else was perfectly fine and when we asked for blankets and sheets for the sofa bed they were quick to take care of us. Overall I was happy with the room considering the value I received. I would definitely go back in the same situation and Annapolis is a really cool place.

This place was a great deal. I had a full-sized fridge. The staff was pleasant. The coffee was very good, & the simple breakfast choices were perfect. For a wedding in Kent Island, I saved $50 a night staying here & driving 16 miles to the wedding, while all of my friends stayed in Kent. The decor was cool - I'd call it modern earthtone. Yes, more renovations would bring this place up to par with more expensive places, but it's a great place.

Easily the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Didn’t feel clean at all. Lousy fitness center, no vending machines, cheapest breakfast (packs of instant oatmeal or small granola bars), no room service or room cleaning. And towels, wash clothes were as this as paper towels.

Unaware of construction outside premises and also inside hotel building. Therefore loud noises every morning at 6am. No vending machines, no ice machines. Room disturbances all 5 nights stay and brought to their attentnion, nothing was fixed. Requested a room change due to the disturbances and was denied. Housekeeping was refused upon requesting it with front desk. Was told we had to take out our own trash, bring down our dirty linen and towels in exchange for clean ones in which we would have to put the clean linens ourselves. Even after requesting housekeeping services the GM overheard our conversations with front desk and mentioned they’d do the housekeeping service before we arrive back. Nothing was done when we arrived back. Seen about 3 different cockroaches in the kitchen area of our room.

Old hotel in desperate need of upgrades. In first room toilet and sink didn’t work. In second room bed was broken. Rooms have kitchens, but cupboard doors broken, zero utensils or dishes. No ice available at all. Dingy and depressing. Staff were good though, but not much they can do with such an awful hotel

The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. Aside from that it was not good at all, and DEFINITELY not worth the price they charge. It was incredibly dirty, everywhere. In the halls, in the rooms. Upon check in there was hair in the bathroom, trash on the window sills, the carpets had debris scattered around. The hallways reek of cigarette smoke & pot. People are constantly smoking in the doorways (and propping the doors open to do so). The property is in an overall state of disrepair - mismatched paint, trim falling off, the AC was half falling off the wall, broken counter tops, etc. The parking lot has abandoned cars in it. The room door was misaligned and would not lock. It was quite noisy, and many guests were very loud and made it hard to sleep. Staff did their best to help - but between the lack of sound proofing and the noisy guests it was nearly impossible. It was my most disappointing hotel stay in quite some time. The property itself is not really around much walkable, there is some decent stuff not too far of a drive. It’s far from usable transit. No restaurant or convenience stores easily accessible. I didn’t feel it was particularly unsafe and there were much nicer hotels in the vicinity so it was definitely just the poor state of this property. Again, the staff was very nice.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
The sofa bed mattress was poor, stained and came with no linens in the room. The “kitchen” came with no glasses, cutlery, dishes, or cooking utensils. All cabinets and drawers were bare. The room was never cleaned once during our 5 day stay. The photo did not accurately show the actual room condition/layout. It was barely better than sleeping in my car!

2 night stay and the bed was not made up - let alone bed linen changed after the first night. Went down to "Breakfast" at 8:10AM on Friday morning and there was no food put out and no coffee. Coffee and muffins/pastries/bagels were provided after I complained. Obviously a property on its way down!

Our room has no tissues, no shower curtain and bathroom was a simple sink. Faucet leaks and there is nowhere to place any toiletries or cosmetics. A/C unit and refrigerator are/were both noisy.

Good location to Annapolis. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location in a business park, so clean and quiet. Hotel is basic, clean and all you need really. Good for the price.

Great Bang for the Buck
I have stayed at this location several times and would certainly give a way above average score. The property is going through renovations but yet still able to provide superb service from front desk through to housekeeping and maintenance.
