"Rooms are basic, very clean and parking is right outside room. It has everything we needed to come back and relax after exploring the canyon. There’s a fridge & coffee in room. Most important for us is the comfort of the beds. These did not disappoint. Staff all over the property were friendly and helpful. Great location to general store and shuttle stop. We were a little worried with some of the reviews but we were very happy with our stay and will stay here again if we come back."

"Stayed in a south rim cabin with partial canyon views - brilliant, just 10 paces from a breath taking view. Cabin was quaint and cosy with all we needed, worth the extra. Clean bathroom and plenty of room. Bright Angel cafe had quite basic but good food, we had breakfasts & dinner there."

"Communicatie met de eigenaan verliep super vlot, het huis is exact zoals beschreven en op de foto's te zien. We kregen op voorhand véél informatie van de eigenaar (gedetailleerde wegbeschrijving en chech-in instructies, waar zijn de winkels, waar kan je best nog tanken, welke restaurants en activiteiten in de buurt, ...). Wij verbleven er in juli 2026 tijdens een zeer droge periode waardoor we de vuurkorf niet konden gebruiken (fire ban in de regio), maar dat werd ruimschoots goed gemaakt door de prachtige sterrenhemel (ja, de melkweg is op een heldere avond duidelijk met het blote oog zichtbaar hier!). In de keuken zijn thee en koffie, maar ook kruiden, olie, ... voorzien, wat super-handig is als je zelf wil koken. Ook de BBQ (zeer proper!) hebben we gebruikt. Toen we toe kwamen stonden er al flesjes water voor ons klaar in de ijskast en op de keukentafel een mandje met trail-mix (kleine zakjes noten/rozijenen) en energy bars. De rust, het uitzicht en het gigantische terras is wat ons bijgebleven is. Iets wat gasten uit Europa ook zullen appreciëren: er zijn verschillende stopcontacten met USB-aansluiting (om smartphone, tablet, ... te laden)."
