Nice Hotel

My stay was good until check out and Expedia and the hotel both tried to charge me so the hotel had to strengthen it out with Expedia never again will I use them

Dated, Dirty and Noisy

Hotel options are extremely limited in Grande Cache, Alberta. I have stayed at this facility in the past and thought it was OK. It has been a few years, and nothing has changed except the housekeeping is much poorer than I remember. I hope to not have to stay in this area again because I do not know that there are any good hotel options. The hotel's breakfast options were bleak and the housekeeping was very poor. I will say that the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The owners of this facility really need to look at the basic necessities of a hotel. I'm actually surprised that the Days Inn chain or Wyndham haven't looked at this facility and questioned whether these are the standards that they would like to maintain:(

Dear Anne, Thank you for your feedback. The new management is working very hard to put this Days Hotel back to standard. I will definitely be discussing with the Housekeeping Department with regards to guest's concerns.

Centrally located.

Pros: Easy to find, clean room, good night's sleep. Broke our journey well between Saskatchewan River Crossing and Grand Prairie.
Cons: Staff engagement and the breakfast.
Location: It's basically a truck stop.
The hotel was fine - large, clean room which was great. Breakfast was disappointing. Very basic, no milk, staff disinterested, clumsy hand written signs including one asking to clear your own table so the staff didn't have to! The main light in our romm didn't work though and the air con was too noisy to have on while we slept.
