The staff was amazing. The room had a great view but the room was also dirty still. Smelled like Curry and the bathroom fan that comes on with the light was super loud. Over all stay was fine for a night.

It's a Radisson, you should expect a little higher standard, even at $100. Our stay on 3/14/24 started with my wife and I stopping to check in and dropping bags then headed to a concert. When we got back and started to settle in, we notice wrappers in the trash and a dirty washcloth on the floor of the bathroom. We then inspected the sheets and found crumbs and an unknown stain on the sheets that was disgusting. I went and complained to the front desk and asked for a clean room and the agent asked me why it took so long to complain and I told him we threw our bags in the room and left and he acted like he did not believe me. He asked me to repeat the problem a couple of times and with a completely emotionless and unapologetic face he gave us another room. That one was fine. This place looks great if you don't dig too deep or if you take your glasses off. It is lipstick on a pig and is pretty rough under the fresh coat of paint. Won't do it again.

Pool was ice cold floors in pool area were soaked the wet floor sign got moved to carpeted area. The hallway walls were dirtybfridge was warm but thankfully my husband pulled it out and found thebtemp lnob that was turned all thebway up to warmest temp check out on 26th and still not got my deposit back not happy

Not horrible, but not good either. Very outdated. Stains, dust, greasy fingerprints all around the room. Very outdated and somewhat creepy. Food offered was microwaved and overpriced. No restaurant there anymore. I am sure this was a great place back in the 80s, but it really needs a redo. Hot tub is large and hot, but not worth booking here again.

I liked the location, close to downtown snd I feel it's cheaper than the hotels there. Overall the place is good, but it needs maintenance here snd there. The bathroom has mold, as far as I know that's not even healthy, and the drywall in the roof was comming apart. The shower had brownish water at the very beginning, tgen the waters was normal. The hallways and elevator smelled like weed, from time to time, not the hotel's fault maybe, but makes you wonder, what kind of place is this? If they improve all these areas, I guess I'd come back

The whole hotel smelt like spicy ramen consistently. Room was unclean, food was on the carpet, blood stain on the window, semen stain on the wall, stains on towels, bedding, furniture, and pillow cases. Heard yelling, screaming, and crying at 3am. Felt unsafe, had to check for bed bugs. Checked out early and no refund was given. STAY AWAY FROM HERE PLEASE!!!!

By far, the worst Radisson I've stayed at to date. Entire hotel smells like curry because of Indian restaurant on first floor. Bath towel was really rough and had not one, but four yellow stains. Water diverter on tub only closed halfway so shower had low pressure. One of the toilet seat nuts was disconnected so seat shifted when I sat on it. Three decaf coffee packs and only one regular. No coffee in the lobby. Loved the pillows, too bad that was the only positive. Avoid if you hate the smell of curry.

Pool was dirty and cold. Hot tub too dirty. Hotel room has none stopping loud noise from the heater and the refrigerator all night long. Noise from neighbor room very loud, too. Nothing at all. I will never stay there again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Toilet woildnt flush, go down to front desk they ask if i want a plunger, then they gave us a room to shower in and ot was dirty, crumbs all over end table, showwer wouldnt drain, very foul odor in halls and elevators told that is the propane torches and stuff they were using to fix pool (not good for someone with allergies and asthma. Never a mention of giving me 1 penny back. The lady working the front desk gives me a card with managers contact info he dont answer his phone and his voicemail is full, called back and they will tell the manager his voicemail os full never once took my name or number for him to call me. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE VISIT THIS PRIPERTY

This property was not very clean. So many of the walls looked liked they needed a good scrubbing and repainting. The ice machines on multiple floors weren't working. The vending machines weren't working. The fridge in our room was broken. The tv went in and out and wasn't a smart tv. The pool was large and the hot tub was nice, although it needed to be cleaned.

I loved it that even though I arrived very late, there was someone to greet me at the desk. That sets you apart from other places that ask you to call or ring a bell. You were just there and that made me fee safe and welcome.

Feels like a roach motel in a bad neighborhood!
The room was absolutely gross. I checked in at midnight and didnt have time to find another place. There was someones bra and an insert for a shoe in the room along with a marijuana vape device. That hadn't been cleaned up. There was some sticky substance that looked like soda splashed all over the door, the toilet was not cleaned properly. The toilet paper was a half roll that had been used. I have never felt less comfortable staying at a hotel in my life. You can tell its not a tip notch establishment as soon as you walk in the lobby door. Im usually not one to nit pick things like this but this place was a dump. And for $100 a night my expectations were much higher. It felt like i was at a cheap motel in a bad neighborhood. Never staying here again.

Nothing like the pictures. Don’t fall for this trap. Dirty rooms, staff could care less about noise & issues, tub was filthy, stains on bedding. Save your money and go else where I promise.

Terrible consumer service
The employee working was rude to the couple trying to get the right receipt in front of us. He was also rude to us as week. We did not check in here and stay. He said “well I don’t have to check you in” so he did not. Would not spend money here. Hot tub was moldy, elevator did not work.

We stayed during Thanksgiving so we were only in the hotel in the mornings and at night. This is a great hotel if you will be in and out a lot. The hot-tub was very nice although we did find a couple bandaids. Overall the pool was clean. The bathroom in the room needed some work but overall the hotel gave us everything we needed. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful as well.

We stayed for 3 days, and the day we did allow maid service into our room all they did was take out the garbage and restock towels - didn't make the bed, didn't tidy up. The room itself was pretty okay but you can tell it's very old and dated. Ceiling tiles didn't match, lots of peeling paint, chipped shower tiles, rust, etc. Rooms were very dim even with the window shades open to sunlight and every light on. Not really the hotel's problem for this, Taste of India/River Rock is considered a separate entity, but the bar was closed our entire stay (Thurs-Sun), and the lone girl manning the Starbucks/breakfast was very slow and all they had for breakfast were a handful of pre-made (see: cheap) sandwiches and overripe fruit. Probably will choose a different hotel next time we stay in Grand Rapids, not nearly as glamorous as the photos make it seem.
