We stayed at this hotel due to the convenient location, which is connected to the performance hall. As a four star hotel, we were very disappointed with our stay. We enjoy staying at 4 and 5 star hotels and have experience with others in G.R. and Detroit. This particular room was "very small." The bathroom was also very small. At check-in, which was at 4:00 pm. the rooms were not ready and we had to wait until 5:15 before given a room for the night. The coffee maker was hidden in the closet, most likely because there is barely any room to sit it anywhere. The valet service was fine, but not 4 star quality. They were rushed due to the overwhelming amount of guests arriving at the same time. They opened your door, took your information, then ran off to the next car. As for cleanliness: A+ Quality of Service: B Amenities: B For the price of this hotel, they are lacking in their customer service, as well as the simple things, such as Internet connection is spotty/slow...Hair dryer is the basic kind that you find at 2 and 3 star hotels...bed was comfy but sheets were not 4 star quality. Bottom line: Hotel does not live up to the price you pay! Also, no discount was offered when the rooms were not ready for the customers.
