Visiting NAU

Posted 29-Apr-2016
It was okay. What you would expect from a cheap motel. It isn't amazing, but it definitely provides all the basic necessities for an overnight stay. We came to visit the NAU campus and it is less than 10 minutes away from there. The breakfast was somewhat lacking, and there was no pool, but all in all, it was good.

Cheap, clean room, cold water.

Posted 20-Apr-2016
Cheap room. Good staff, but the hotel shower water was cold. Older construction and drafty rooms in the wintertime. Comes with a heater so no worries on the draft.

The guy Jose at the front desk was great.

I really got more than I expected. The room was so clean and newly renovated. The service was great. They were accommodating to give me s downstairs room because I can't walk up stairs too well. I did so happened to get a room with a mountain view, which was nice. When I'm in flagstaff I will definitely stay there again.

Could be better

Posted 18-Apr-2016
It was just ok. The hotel needs a face lift. Here were cracked windows and some of the room numbers were just paper and a sharpie pen taped to the window. If it was presented better, Id stay again. But i wouldnt in the condtion its in. There were no fitted bottom sheets on the bed and the blackout drapes had holes in them. the water pressure is not so great. The staff was very friendly.

Cons: need some updating every is too old
difficutlty to see the entrance from the street. I thought the hotel would be in better condition by being so close to the university. I was very dissapointed.

Fair hotel with some rude staff

Posted 10-Apr-2016
When we booked originally, a friends flight may have been delayed. It was 23 hours before our reservation and the man I spoke too was rude and would not change date or allow us to cancel. Thankfully, the amazing staff at Expedia refunded the amount. We mistakenly rebooked the same hotel the next night, and were charged an extra $20 for our party. This was nowhere on the website so Expedia refunded the $20. It seemed like it was added after our compliant however. The wifi was horrible and the breakfast was not great, coffee virtually undrinkable and the "orange juice" was a kool aid type drink- revolting. There are many other decent budget options in Flagstaff, I wouldn't chose this again or recommend.
