Pleasantly surprised with an excellent stay
I wasn't expecting much beyond a clean room from this hotel, but walked away having had a wonderful resort experience.
The staff here was among the friendliest and most welcoming I have ever met. You can tell customer service is a culture here, not just something talked about. I was always greeted and asked if there was anything I could be helped with. Consistent service from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurants and gift shop.
We ate in the café and the pub. Food was correct, hot and fresh. Again, the wait staff ensured that we were 100 percent happy.
The facility is clean and well maintained. It is a large facility, but easy to navigate and offers a good offering of food and entertainment.
Our room was clean and everything was in working order. Large TVs with a great selection of channels, including HBO.
The Wi-Fi is free and fast. I had no issues roaming the property and staying connected.
Rooms are quiet and secure. You need a key to get into any building other than the main facility.
Keurig coffee in the room is a great extra. The fridge and microwave were clean a worked. Bathroom had ample hot water and was spotless.. Beds were firm, but comfortable and there were ample soft pillows.
We didn't swim, but there are 2 pools, one inside and one outdoors. Both looked really inviting and were completely clean. Even cooler, there is a large outdoor fireplace and bar as well!
We will definitely be back and look forward to a longer stay.
