Great hotel vry close to grand canyon

Posted 21-May-2017
Pros: Overall the staff friendlyness and helpfulness
Cons: In my opinion nothing has to be improved
Location: Close to the grand Canyon National park. Best of all there is a shuttle connecting to different areas of the Park that stops in front of the hotel
Best service ever witnessed! Stall vry friendly and helpful. The bedrooms and bathrooms are of very good quality. We liked that you could choose between 2 possibilities to dine. One affordable buffet and one fancy dining. These options are seldom offered in hotels.

Very underwhelming hotel.....more like motel.

Posted 18-May-2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rooms!
We had a two night reservation. After checking in and seeing the room we decided to leave the next morning. We even considered just leaving then, but we're too tired from the drive. I don't recommend this hotel. And for the expensive price.....ludicrous.

Pros: not good choice
Location: Easy to take purple line bus.
We stayed two days and wifi didn't work both of two days. Also, the bathroom was not clean. It is not valuable for the price.

Overpriced and underwhelming.

Posted 14-May-2017
Pros: The proximity to the park.
Cons: Train the front desk staff. Train the hotel restaurant cooking staff. The meal was horrible.
Location: Very close to Grand Canyon Village. Limited breakfast options.
Considering the price-point the hotel was rather disappointing. There was a persistent gross smell in the facilities & the staff was untrained and rude.

A mile from Grand Canyon National Park

Posted 14-May-2017
Pros: Clean, well appointed, spacious, modern rooms. Excellent gym and pools
Cons: Internet speed is horrific. Access to sites is limited for random reasons. Food in both restaurants is okay, nothing to write home about. Bland
Location: The Grand Canyon exceeds expectations. If you are 62 or over, don't pay the park entry fee of $30. Get a $10 lifetime senior pass to all natioal parks
This is a lovely facility with excellent staff, who go out of their way to welcome and accommodate you. Unfortunately, the internet access is sluggish and heavily censored. Links that reference even the mildly offensive are prohibited. Boasts two pools, one indoor and one outdoor and a aclean and modern gym. The food in the restaurants is just okay. The food in the canyon is better.

Great location - very close to Grand Canyon

Posted 13-May-2017
Pros: great staff
This is a very basic hotel. Room is very tiny but surprisingly clean. Keep in mind that you will only be in the room to sleep/shower. If your goal is to be close to the Grand Canyon and have a place to sleep. This is perfect. If you want a 5 star hotel - I doubt there are any close to the park. The town does not have much to offer. You are best off at Pizza Hut / Wendys or McDonalds if you are a picky eater. I really encourage you to see the sunset at the Canyon. Check website for exact sunrise times - for time of year - wake up at: 4:15am (May) - leave hotel at: 4:40am - Get coffee @ McD - Pay entrance fee with credit card - no attendant at that time - Catch free shuttle at: 5am - Get to Yaki Point - Enjoy - it is very quick DRESS WARM - wear layers. Drink lots of water - people who are dehydrated have a problem being 7,000 ft up. - if you rent a car - get something with horsepower. The drive from Phoenix is up hill for 4 hours. *** If you are short on time don't go to Williams - Route 66. Its 1 block of stores and a few eateries. Sedona - is amazing. there is a Mexican market (shops/art studios/restaurants) really nice and of coarse the scenery. AMAZING!!!

Convenient

Posted 09-May-2017
Pros: Lots of things to do, nice pool area
Cons: Front desk should know what the rooms are and where they are located.
Location: Close to Grand Canyon, it was simply beautiful!
Nice hotel, close enough to Grand Canyon (6 miles). Can take the bus right outside of hotel. Nice swimming facility, clean. The one experience bad was we were originally put in a handicap room unloaded our bags from cart, then realized wrong room which wasn't for us. Had to go back down to reservation counter on the other side of the hotel complex, stand in line, then the hotel clerk was confused about the rooms and where to transfer us. Went back up to original room and someone had removed the cart so had to move all of our bags down a floor and take the key fob back to the desk. Our room was close to the elevator and Ice maker, it was noisy all night. Mistakes can happen but it was inconvenient after a long drive. Otherwise, the hotel was nice.

Pleasantly surprised with an excellent stay

Posted 09-May-2017
Pros: GREAT customer service! Clean and a wide variety of things to do. Good food with lots of options.
Cons: The parking is a little strange because of the layout of the property, the bus traffic and a lot of people who don't follow the painted arrows.
Location: The Grand Canyon, but this place has an arcade, pools and even a bowling alley!
I wasn't expecting much beyond a clean room from this hotel, but walked away having had a wonderful resort experience. The staff here was among the friendliest and most welcoming I have ever met. You can tell customer service is a culture here, not just something talked about. I was always greeted and asked if there was anything I could be helped with. Consistent service from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurants and gift shop. We ate in the café and the pub. Food was correct, hot and fresh. Again, the wait staff ensured that we were 100 percent happy. The facility is clean and well maintained. It is a large facility, but easy to navigate and offers a good offering of food and entertainment. Our room was clean and everything was in working order. Large TVs with a great selection of channels, including HBO. The Wi-Fi is free and fast. I had no issues roaming the property and staying connected. Rooms are quiet and secure. You need a key to get into any building other than the main facility. Keurig coffee in the room is a great extra. The fridge and microwave were clean a worked. Bathroom had ample hot water and was spotless.. Beds were firm, but comfortable and there were ample soft pillows. We didn't swim, but there are 2 pools, one inside and one outdoors. Both looked really inviting and were completely clean. Even cooler, there is a large outdoor fireplace and bar as well! We will definitely be back and look forward to a longer stay.
