Wooden ceilings, cave-type air conditioning, central and quiet street with exterior rooms, located on a ground floor with easy access from Mudejar-style patio. Ideal place to visit the center of Granada on foot and rest deeply afterwards, given the spell of the house. On December 17, 1994 the Albaicín was declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, joining the same place that already existed in the city since ten years before, with a new name: Alhambra, Generalife and Albayzín. Pomegranate. Located on two adjacent hills, the Albaicín and the Alhambra form the medieval center of Granada that dominates the modern city. In the eastern part of the fortress and royal residence of the Alhambra are the wonderful gardens of the Generalife, country house of the emirs that dominated this part of Spain in the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries. The Albaicín neighborhood preserves a rich set of Hispano-Muslim constructions harmoniously fused with traditional Andalusian architecture. Access by car is easy despite being in the Albaicín, Serrano street is pedestrian and a 5-minute walk away there is a public parking lot. However if you have luggage for 4 pls be aware that it is a 6-8 min uphill walk from where the taxi drops you. Apartment is not easy to locate and the host to told us he can not call to give directions - he could send text through Vrbo app- gave us wrong house number 3 instead of 13\. We were out in 38 degrees frantically looking for the address. When we found the place There is no air conditioning and most importantly found out that fridge was not working. L'appartement est assez bien pour une famille. Les espaces communs sont petits et un peu sombres, mais le lieu est intéressant. On sent l'histoire, et dé-ambuler des les rues connexes est tres agréable. Le quartier est calme, tout comme la demeure. La maison est jolie et la court intérieure agréable. Les accent de bois (portes, fenetres et plafond) sont neufs et remarquables. À noté qu'il n'est pas possible de se rendre en voiture jusqu'à la porte de l'appartement, mais il ne faut que marcher qu'une ou deux minutes.
