This hotel is everything and more it advertises itself to be. A beautiful location, wonderful staff that are all very helpful and friendly and a fantastic choice and quality of food. We will definitely be returning.

It’s a great property. I don’t think it’s a family resort but they try to accommodate child free zones with child friendly zones. I think they need to choose or flip the child free zones to larger areas as the pool was jammed and the massive pools were empty. Other than that - its beautiful but I wouldn’t come back with kids.

It is out of the way of everything so a bit of an oasis of peace and quiet (except the building work going on at the moment opposite the hotel!) But if you want a relaxing place to stay away from the hustle and bustle its a great choice. You have to go half board as there are limited dining options avaliable around the property. Food is an excellent choice and staff cant do enough. Would return in a heartbeat.

Paradise
Paradise. Absolute Paradise. This resort was by far the best resort we have ever stayed in. The property and the setting was unparalleled. We enjoyed every minute of our time here. The pools, the restaurants and the bar were amazing. Our two favorite staff members Barbara and Silvano served up the most AMAZING drinks my husband and I have ever tasted. We enjoyed ending our nights with them. Hats off to this resort, they really are doing things right!

A really fantastic week spet here, so much we are already looking to book up again. The resort is in a stunning setting, our block that we were in was at the far left, very quiet with moutain, golf course and sea vies (in the Drago building). We are a couple and were concerned about having kids by the pool but there is an adult only pool on the roof that gets the sun all day that was so relaxing and beautiful! The food was exceptional, great choice for breakfast and evening meals always had fresh fish, meat and then a themed choice too! I would only recommended staying half board as there are no other dining options in the area and it was excellent. We had a car for the week to explore but there is a shuttle bus you can use that goes down to maspalomas. All staff were freindly and we cant wait for another week of relaxation.

A hotel with quality and high standards
This was a return visit following a short stay in February 22. It exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Angela on Reception was courteous and helpful making our stay truly memorable. All the staff were polite and professional. Our room was beautiful with an air of peace and tranquillity- and it was spotlessly clean. We will not hesitate in returning to this hotel again later in the year . Many thanks.

Luckily it had an adults only pool area!
The location of the hotel is amazing, away from it all with incredible views. There is nothing to do around it but that suited us well. The hotel is VERY child friendly. Thankfully they had an incredible adults only pool and bar area with incredible views in a separate area. The included buffet breakfast and dinner gets a bit boring and feels very chaotic and uncivilised for a 5* resort. Having an adult only restaurant section at the bufffet would have improved our experience greatly, for those that chose to travel without children. Screaming children at 9pm was frustrrating. We did travel in the school holidays though. Overall though a good hotel though if you like big resorts with lots of people.

Fantastic hotel with great staff and food. I used the gym which was pretty good too. Only thing that could have been better is the frequency of the shuttle buses to the beach.

Staff went out of their way to help us on several occasions and the facilities were perfect for a nice relaxing week away. Lots of different pools to choose from, including one adults only area, and decent food choices for breakfast/dinner.

A wonderful surprise
I recommend this hotel complex to anyone seeking comfort and professionalism. All staff were courteous and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Front desk were wonderful and made us feel individual- as one would hope for from a privately run hotel . We will be returning in the very near future

This resort stands out, no doubt. It was nothing short of amazing. We visited in March 2019 for our 1 year anniversary and months later, I had to make sure that I wrote this review because our time here was so amazing. The staff go above and beyond, the restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner each night was superb. The food exceeded our expectations being freshly made whilst still having variety. The atmosphere and decor was excellent too. Our only mistake, was not booking it for longer. For the first time on a holiday, we felt we left too soon and didn't get an opportunity to explore everything they have on offer. So we want to go back. The only downside for us is that the island during March is quite windy and not as hot as we'd like, but the sun was still out and we loved the quietness of the resort at this time.

Amazing Hotel
We had an amazing stay at the Salobre Hotel and Resort. The location is spectacular, in the south of Gran Canaria, up in the mountain with amazing views and just a few minutes drive from Meloneras, Playa del Ingles and Megan. The hotel has an incredible ambiance, blending perfectly with nature. Service was perfect from check-in to check-out. Special thanks to the manager Arturo who was extremely helpful with tips on activities and places to visit around the island. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower and amenities. The balcony overlooking the mountains and the golf course was a great plus. There are several pool areas around the property and guests can have as much privacy as they want. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, both as far as variety and quality. The restaurants in the property are also quite good. We tried Sidecar and S Club (if I am not mistaken) and food and service were excellent. S Club has live music in the evenings which was very enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again.

Couple week end at Sheraton
We tried the hotel as a reconnaissance for upcoming trip with family members. The hotel is an oasis of calm and serenity. Beautiful decor, outstanding customer service and lots of offers such as shuttle to the beach etc... Basically this is hassle free and we can enjoy our time.

Wonderful
Brilliant - the perfect relaxing break we needed. Facilities and service are excellent. The sun shined every day we were there in April. Loved the new golf course and roof top area. Only slight criticism is the dinner buffet food was quite similar most nights, would have been nice to have more themed nights.

Excellent hotel in peaceful location
My daughter and I loved this hotel and will definitely return in the future. The hotel is very well designed and never felt crowded. The facilities are excellent, with different pools on different levels, gym with lots of classes and spa. We spent most of our time around the infinity pool and the sunset bar, where the views were incredible. Our room was modern and clean, with a great balcony complete with chaise longue to catch the morning sun. There was a wide range of foods at both the breakfast and dinner buffets, which catered even for my fussy, nearly vegetarian daughter. The hotel staff were lovely and the service was excellent.

Probably the best place to stay on the island
We had stayed here week ago. The hotel is based in between a mountain (hills). Once you entering a hotel complex, you can feel that it is kind of small village hidden in the hills. Stunning view from hotel rooms are priceless. A hotel has a free bus transfer service to their own privet beach. Check in was a bit slow, but understandable. A hotel is massive. Receptionist has a lot of to tell you, how to get from point A to B. Our rooms were on 8 floor with a stunning view to the sea and hills. Rooms were specious enough for 2 people and had all equipment we needed (hairdryer did not work, but its happened). In general rooms were spotless , same as all public areas. I would recommend , just leave your luggage and go straight up to 11th floor and enjoy a salty warm water infinity pool with a great view. Very relaxing. Sun bed area is great, very big and you can easily find a space to lay down and rest. A hotel main restaurant is the best so far I had seen. A buffet equipment and a selection of food it had been offered is enormous. Freshly cooked, and extreamly tasty. Great Job Chef! Waiting staff works as big happy team. Very attentive and makes you feel warm welcome. A floor manager Veronica, did a great job by looking after us. Five star service.

Wow factor
This hotel is just lovely, the views are stunning the staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend a trip to the spa the treatments were fantastic and the staff were so lovely. I will definitely be going back.

Honestly....fabulous
I travel on business and with the family, and rarely find a hotel so well run, with such fabulous staff, and such incredible food. Im truly blown away by the excellence, and the friendliness. We will be back again soon, as I cant see any other hotels matching what you get here.

The place to stay for rest and relaxation
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Excellent facilities and food. Views from the 11th.floor pool area fantastic. Only stayed for one night but next time hope to stay for longer.

Perfect birthday getaway
Lovely hotel - stayed here for four nights for my 39th birthday. It's enormous, with seven pools - so plenty of space, and incredibly relaxing. The staff are friendly, and helpful - and I'd recommend spending an evening or day in the spa. I'll definitely return! Ideal winter sun break.

Hotel in the sky
Inland in it's own valley, this stunningly designed hotel ticks all the boxes. Smiley helpful staff, excellent spa, 7 pools - one adults only, endless buffet breakfast and a full free program of activities - yoga, Pilates, meditation. And gfolf.

Good rooms, terrible restaurant
Lovely hotel with very comfortable beds. Quiet area, on two golf courses. Breakfast very good, buffet dinner pretty bad! Taxi to closest restaurants was euro30 return per night.

Preety basic though . That was not a king bed for sure and was more likely a 4 star . Far away from 5 stars . Great view though
