An oasis

Pros: Everything
Cons: No problems at all.
Location: Beautiful seafront with nice bars and shops.
The grounds are huge with several pools. It is all very peaceful and shaded with pool verandas for sunbathing and the staff DO remove towels from sunbeds if they are not being used! The 2 breakfast restaurants provide excellent choice and we had a lovely meal one evening. Drinks are surprisingly reasonably priced for a hotel of this quality and the staff are terrific! It is very chic along the seafront in front of the hotel with loads of nice shops etc.

Amazing hotel

Excellent food,great pools,pleasant helpful staff and wonderful location near to shops and beach.Highly recommended hotel but would have liked to have had tea/coffee facilities in our room.

Excellent hotel, beautiful grounds and pools.

Pros: Stunning pools with plenty of lounging areas and shady spots where you didn't feel crammed in. Little extras like the beach towels and bag.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been great.
Location: Just walk out the secure gate at the rear of hotel and you are on the beach front with lovely shops and restaurants.
The hotel had a stunning entrance and reception with beautiful views across infinity pool and the sea. We were given an extremely spacious room with terrace , shaded by palm trees and a nice view of one of the pools. There was a great variety and quality of food in the restaurants and staff were always eager to help if there was something you required. Very speedy and professional service. Plenty of activities, bars, snacks, etc, available. The entertainment staff were exceptional.

Top hotel

Pros: Great standard room (didn't need anymore).Best shower ever. All the facilities are excellent especially the pools and grounds
Cons: Pillows too hard for us.
Location: Meloneras is quiet as expected but nice front, plenty of restaurants and shops and the beach was great..
There in February but good weather, no rain, daytime temps around 23-25C even if sometimes slightly overcast.Nights obviously quite a bit cooler. Looked at each hotel in the resort beforehand and very pleased with the choice - location amenities staff all very good . The scale of the hotel is definitely a plus it offers so much without feeling anywhere near the size is it.

very large hotel

Pros: I liked the breakfasts, there was a huge choice from the buffet.
Location: the location was fine, it was near to shops and resturants
the hotel was very big and we had quite a walk to the room from reception. the room was not very well situated in that it was in a corner site and the balcony was always in the shade, therfore it was always cold so you couldnt sit out on it.

Stay somewhere else until they change managers

Needs a new Manager and a new Executive Team and some rooms are way tired and need updating. We had been there 3 times before. This time, we got a tired unrenovated room with a bed that was unsleepable and a tiny bug in it. We asked for a better room, willing to pay for an upgrade. Jose from "Public Relations" met us and assured us he would work on it as we would be there for a week. He did nothing and did not return subsequent calls. Front desk said they have no ability to do anything as Jose or the Hotel Manager must handle it. Hotel Manager does not return calls for the week but rather sent a twist off 1 glass bottle of wine with a Happy Birthday note. We returned it with a note explaining that it was not our birthday and laying out the problems. He still refused to call but sent a regular bottle of wine with an apology over the birthday confusion. We sent it back with a note about the problems and asking him to call. He never called. Till today we have never heard from him. The Lopesan probably is trying to push their other hotel and so are letting the rooms slide and the management is unresponsive. The front office seems to consist of Jose and an invisible hotel manager both of whom should be replaced.

Excellent resort hotel with loads of amenities. Could do with heating the pools though. Two singles rather than a double quite annoying too. Staff exceptionally friendly.

Beautiful hotel with excellent outside facilities.Very good food , large varieties , ideal for Half Board .Some staff are very pleasant and have a very good command of English , but others are crap.Would stay there again and highly recommend it .
