Unexpected stopover
We had a wonderful room , clean and tidy. Well laid out furniture. . Wonderful helpful staff . Super roof top terrace to sit out on. Only stopped for 2 nights. Saturday night is outside disco night so don't expect much sleep unless you are joining in. Would go there again.

This was lovely accommodation that was near to the beach and bus station and with restaurants and shops nearby. The only negative is you may be above some bars and restaurants thatwere at times noisy until late and caused a problem sleeping.

Having stayed here several times in the past, I was surprised to find that it has changed in many ways, which I didn’t find was an improvement. Bed & Chic is now not a hotel, I would say more ‘serviced rooms’. The quality of my suite as, as before, superb. Style and content was as before, but elements beyond my door were below par. There was, and still is, a coffee ‘corner’ on site, that implies (with original signage) that guests can refresh themselves with teas and coffees. Not so! There are two shiny coffee machines that require pods; there were no pods. Realising that I needed to buy my own, I asked reception what type of capsule I needed to find at a supermarket.I was told that I could buy them from reception, and warned that if I purchased from anywhere else then they may not fit. The receptionist then sold me a double-capsule pack for two Euros; a cup for a Euro; I bought a few. The coffee was weak and not pleasant, even using two at a time AND, on research, is purchased ON,Y from Amazon in massive quantities making them as cheap as chips…nowhere near the high price charged at B&C. At a later date, when talking with the delightful manager who is sometimes onsite, I gathered that the other receptionist may have been overcharging for the coffee packs. Consequently I gave up coffee for the next twelve days of my stay. The roof terrace was always delightful, and still has the same super views, but is desperately in need of some TLC. Great location in Las Palmas, convenient for good, local food & bars, with excellent cafes too. All staff were very helpful & professional & the room was a great size, cleaned daily & with air con. The bus station from the airport is only a 5 minutes walk away. Minor issues with late check-in machine that was off-line, otherwise an excellent choice for a stay in this impressive city!

All very good, except it's important to note that reception has limited hours (09:00-14:00) and therefore lots of services that a hotel of this size would often offer, such as luggage storage until an evening departure, aren't available

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a refrigerator, dishes and silverware. There is a wonderful rooftop area with couches, tables and beanbag chairs. The location was great, especially for Carnival.

Central, great rooms great staff.
We had a big comfortable room on the top floor. It had a mini kitchen too, which was really handy. The location is excellent for the city centre. There is a lively square right by the hotel, great fun, but if you want peace and quiet in the evenings this may not be the place for you! Saff were frindly and helpful.

Great little hotel on the park. Everything was perfect. The staff were great and the location was brilliant, just a short stroll to the beach.

Ok hotel for a night
Nice hotel overall, but not brilliant. The room looked showy with lots of fancy pendant lights, long curtains and lots of cushions, but the room lacked surface space, the ceiling light didn't work and the sink was a bit rusty from the wetroom spraying water everywhere (it wasn't a good choice to install a wetroom - it's not aged well and the floor looks very discoloured). The floral smell in the room was rather overbearing for me too. Also the wifi was erratic. The breakfast was ok but the croissant wasn't that fresh, the coffee rather bitter and the juice kind of sour. They're trying really hard with their chic touches and the staff were really nice, but if some of the basics were better done they would carry it off better.

Very Chic! We liked it a lot. The only thing that didn’t work well for us was the bathroom. We would have preferred something around the shower to stop water from going everywhere. The location was superb - only the rainy weather was a disappointment.

A good / basic and comfortable stay close to the centre of Las Palmas. Well located for bus transport around the island from Santa Catalina bus station. The hotel is mixed use between a cafe bar, hotel and cocktail bar on the roof.

Interesting hotel, could be better.
The hotel was fine, but our room had a few annoying details. The bathroom light was controlled by motion sensor, but the light, which was flourescent, over sink stayed on too long, if one used toilet during the night, but if you were showering, the light would go off. Dumb design. We never could get the main room lights or the ac/heating to work, and a bit of heat would have been nice, as we hit a cold snap. The breakfast situation was absurd. There really is no breakfast room, there is a tiny cafe open to hotel guests and the public, with 4 inside tables, and lots of outside tables, but again it was too cold to eat outside. Hotel and cafe staff were very pleasant, but the whole experience was less then great. The hotel location was fine, right on a very nice square, central location. But the streets right off the square can be a little seedy at night, not dangerous, just seedy.

Fantastic hotel: clean, comfortable and well-presented. In a great area centrally in Las Palmas. Would definitely recommend, but would point out that due to it's great location, it can be noisy until late.

Convenient location at a good price
We stayed for 3 nights in a junior suite. The room was spacious, though we did not make full use of the kitchenette facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple and in an area open to the outside, so it could be uncomfortable on a cool morning. We understood that this is being remedied by extending into the building next door. The location is very convenient for access to buses and the car park the hotel has an arrangement with. The hotel overlooks Santa Catalina Park, which is enjoyed by locals and has lots of atmosphere. We would certainly go there again.

Lovely hotel , lovely staff.
Lovely hotel and fabulously helpful and friendly staff. Situated near Santa Catalina Park, it's within easy reach of all local amenities and only a short (and cheap) bus ride from the old town. I'd thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay for a few days.

Very friendly and clean hotel
Overall the hotel was very good. Staff were very friendly and always helpful. My main reason for not giving excellent was the very poor breakfast no real choice and very rigid in what you got ie with your toast one very small portion of jam no choice of fruit flavor or a small portion of chopped tomatoes. Would have used the hotel room only if I had known about the poor breakfast.

Very nice hotel in good location. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room really excellent - spacious and clean and the chance to make our own tea and coffee was very welcome. We thought it might be noisy as it was over the square but it is well sound insulated as the noise wasn't noticeable at all.

Quick city break.
Great boutique hotel in a great location. Excellent check in, friendly staff. Our room overlooked the park and was a good size. Loved our 2 night stay here.

Nice cool hotel for a short stay
Other than someone's dirty socks under the bed, the room we had was great - really pleasant. Staff were really nice and helpful. We only stayed for one night so it's difficult to say much more but the free breakfast was also nice. Fantastic wifi.

Surprise extension to our Sun Break
This trip surprised us .Didn't have any presumed ideas.Just thought it would be nice to see Las Palmas .Really surprised, loved the old town ,market areas and walking street all explained by reception staff.Amazing attention to detail. Backing on to The Catalina Park area there was great buzz. Rooms were cute and v.well planned.

Very good experience in central Las Palmas hotel
The hotel was an old building modernised to a very good standard. We were next to a popular square where we were able to spend a very pleasant evening just recovering from flight with pizza and wine whilst listening to carnival event. Room glazing kept indoors fairly quiet. The staff were really nice and helpful, serving us with one of the nicest breakfasts I've had each morning. Had couple of meals in restaurants of which there was good choice. Would thoroughly recommend first one, Clandestino, which was excellent and very reasonable for impressive quality of good. Would not recommend the other restaurant visited, Rias Bajas, of which we had high expectations in line with very high prices charged, but found the experience disappointing in every aspect.

We cant praise the reception staff highly enough.
We had to arrange for my husband to have an INR blood test and we had been quoted silly prices. The staff went out of their way to find a clinic who did it for 10€. They gave us loads of tips and places to go to make the holiday one to remember.

From the moment we checked in this hotel was excellent. Hector on reception welcomed us warmly and gave us so much information on the area re restaurants sightseeing and route to the beach.The area is excellent for just about everything with a bus very close by, major shops just a short walk away and excellent restaurants close by. The hotel is modern and yes "Chic" We had an excellent room with a super comfy bed and pillow, spacious room and an terrific shower. A decent continental breakfast was available to hotel guests at a discounted price. We stayed for 9 nights and encountered just 1 noisy night at the weekend. We will stay here again

Fabulous location and hotel.
The location is excellent. Close to restaurants and the Mercado del Puerto as well as shops and the Museo Elder. Also close to buses going into the Old Town. The hotel itself is modern and well managed. The staff is knowledgeable and could not be more helpful. We feel lucky to have stayed here.

Amazingly large rooms
The hotel has more pro's than cons. Very large rooms, clean and decorated in a minimilistic way which we liked and as requested our room overlooked Catalina Park. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. You could have breakfast in the cafe on the ground floor with a discount for guests. On the whole a very nice hotel but there were one or two downsides.

Comfortable bed, great location, many good restaurants around. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs because the city can be loud at night (not hotel's fault).

Beautiful hotel
We found the hotel was in an excellent location right in the square close to cruise port and near everything I.e. Bus station ,shops bars, restaurants walking distance from beach . The Hotel its self is very well looked after modern and tasteful decor, very comfy bed and very helpful stafff

Panache on the Plaza
This is a very cool hotel -- offbeat and unique, with contemporary styling all its own. The most amazing part, though, is the staff, especially the employees at the check-in desk. Throughout my stay, they took lots of time to help me get oriented in the city and to make suggestions for sightseeing. The lobby area is very small, with the bar/cafe spilling out to the plaza. I really enjoyed lingering at the tables outdoors, where an inexpensive breakfast was available. The only downside of this hotel: The setting on the plaza is lovely, but the bar/restaurant next door was very noisy until around 1 a.m. Light sleepers should bring earplugs. The bed was very comfie, though, and my room was pristine.
