Room in B&B - Hotel Moura Deluxe Room N5186

You are not getting the deluxe room.

"The images of the room are not the room you'll receive, nor is the room a deluxe room; it is a standard room with no balcony. If you have your heart set on the room in the pictures, you're going to be disappointed. The room we had was a bit tired, with poor grouting and finishing in the bathroom. You are not booking a deluxe room in hotel moura, the name of the hotel on this site is 'Hotel Moura Deluxe Room'. It's a shady tactic, and they clearly know they're taking advantage of people's expectations in a manner beyond rebuke and you are technically getting the room you reserved. It's just not the room you'd expect from the pictures. This is clearly some kind of swindle they've been at for some time as we weren't the only people to speak to the extremely indifferent and borderline rude reception staff about this (the other people that did so had contacted the hotel multiple times in advance of arriving to reserve a deluxe room, and appeared to have been stiffed worse than us). Otherwise, the hotel itself is pleasant and stylish. The breakfast has an excellent range of foods and the spa is good (however one of the hot tubs is questionably slimy on the wood). Decent location for ski lift distance and cheap prices. Death trap elevator with an open front though, so watch your kids. Following my experience at this hotel however, I would not go back, and would not recommend booking here."

"As others mention, the property itself could do with some renovation which means it doesn't feel perfectly clean and modern. However, the staff are very friendly and the stay was half-board with an excellent variety of food options (including most Bulgarian classics based on our internet searches) and a I think something for everyone. Their dessert chef(s) is amazing and produces really top quality dishes. It is within a 15 minute walking distance of the ski slopes, or alternatively they have limited shuttles to the slopes (8am, 8.15am, 9am, 9.15am) returning at similar times around 4pm. We would definitely go back here"

Extremely dated, the bed is not comfortable and you can feel the springs. The drains/water really smell disgusting and the shower curtain stank of cigarette smoke. The room was not at all soundproofed (it is really noisy). You can hear people in other rooms talking and even going to the toilet! Breakfast is not a buffet as stated in the description, it is an option of 4/5 small offerings. I ordered scrambled eggs as stated on the menu and this is literally all I got! My partner ordered the combination option which included one slice of tomato, stale cake with salami and cheese. In addition, check-in took ten times longer than it should as the guy didnt speak English. He had to make calls to someone else who worked there to translate. Fair enough until he kept on saying we owed 80bng for the room. I said I had paid (on Gtranslate), it was then written on paper for me. I reiterated I had paid and showed the invoice yet he then claimed I still needed to pay for breakfast which was included. Totally unprofessional.An apology was given for the language barrier in the morning but it is the demanding more money that I didn’t feel comfortable with.Not worth the money, get nicer and cheaper!"

Excellent hot spring hotel, amazing pools

"The rooms were comfortable though over-heated for early November. The hot spring pools were amazing; the water composition was great and there were numerous pools of varying temperatures warm enough for the cooler months of the year. Food at the restaurant was great and varied. We also enjoyed the massages at the spa.The receptionist was unable to find our Hotels.com reservation when we checked in, which proved a bit alarming. We trusted they eventually sorted out the issue during our stay."
