JUST OK.
Made a booking for 2 people in a family room with multiple beds, my daughter decided to join us after I made the booking. When we checked in, the receptionist kept saying she needed to see my booking my phone, I said why, you had my booking. She said you booked for 2 people but you are 3. I said, so ? I could pay extra just check us in. We were going back and forth, I was ready to ask for the refund and leave. Then she called the manager saying we were causing trouble, I guess she didn't know my daughter speaks perfect Greek! We were furious. Thank God, the manager Martina was amazing, checked us in and explained it is all inclusive, we need to pay extra 60 euro for my daughter - it was not a problem for us at all, we understand. However, we went to another hotel after 2 days, we didn't enjoy the food at the hotel during our 2 days of stay.

There were lots of good points about this property. The beach area was lovely, the entertainment was good and there was a large variety of food. The staff were lovely and kind and welcoming. The downside was the cleanliness. Our toilet seat had a suspicious brown smear on the underside of the seat and I saw a cockroach on the corridor the second night. The juice and water machines in the restaurants had a grimy residue on the inside. The lunch at the beach on the second day was sat out several hours later, which was on a hot day and was meat and tzatziki! Unfortunately both my partner and I were both ill with stomach issues during our stay. The beach and pools are lovely, unfortunately a bit tricky with a pram as there are steps to get to them and a hill in the heat for the top pool. I wanted to write a more positive review for the lovely staff, gorgeous views and potential! But the cleanliness let it down for me…

Didn't feel the need to leave the hotel as you can be either at the beach or at the pool in less than 5mins. We prefer a pebbled beach and loved going snorkeling, however check for jellyfish before going in the water! Food and drink all day long, lovely staff! Thank you all 😀

Amazing sea view from our family room balcony, easy access to the beach, good variety of all inclusive food and drinks, friendly restaurant staff, welcoming receptionist during our 11pm check in, and an unexpected welcome gift with a hand written note, which I thought was a nice touch. My only suggestion would be to renovate the building as it resonated an 80’s Miami vibe. The air con is also very noisy. Would recommend this hotel.

Exceptional friendly staff
The sea view is breathtaking. Very nice garden views as well. It was very quiet and relaxing. There were variety of food, drinks and others stuff. It was all inclusive package. The quality of service was exceptional. The staff were great and enthusiastic. Lots of leisure activities - basket ball, tennis court, table tennis, snooker board, dart area etc. There are water aerobics etc. It was family friendly. With evening entertainment in the evening after dinner. It was very entertaining and there were no room for boredom. The kids enjoyed every bit of it. Adults sections with dance and all. The location is great, about 30mins from town, airport and local amenities were nearby. It was quiet enough to hear lots of birds singing. There was plenty of sunshine to go bask in (we visited end of May) My only reservation is that the hotel is old and not very clean. They need to improve on the cleanliness. The staff do a good cleaning but the furniture and the general ambience is old and cannot be clean to give a neat feel. This need improvement. But overall, we had a great experience! They should also improve the presentation of fruit section in the restaurant to encourage more people eating fruits. At the moment, the dessert section is more appealing. Shout out to all the staff, well done and many thanks for your service.

Very smooth check in/out with very helpful staff, the food was delicious with excellent options for breakfast, lunch and dinner and many snacks available throughout the day. The beach is so nice with clear water and the swimming pools are very good too with aqua activities.

On the beach, crystal clear water, easy bus ride into Corfu Town. The food is excellent - enormous variety of food at each sitting, different variety every day and good English breakfast - Bed very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. No complaints at all - good value for money.

Lovely stay
Just returned from a lovely two weeks at the Primasol Louis Ionian Sun. It's about a 20 minute drive from the airport, and just across the road from the beach though anything else would be accessed by bus or car. Facilities are great, plenty of sun loungers at the pools and beach, and a nice park for our son to play in. Rooms are cleaned daily and always seemed very clean. Food was really nice with a wide range of choice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again

A good family hotel. We didn't go to the pools as they were 6 floors and a little walk up hill away, we just stayed on the beach where there were plenty of beds and parasols. You need water shoes as the beach is pebbles, the hotel shop sells them. Snorkelling is excellent there. Food - there could be more authentic Greek dishes but lots of choice. All Inclusive drinks good apart from being served in paper coffee cups and substitute white alcohol for gin and tequila.

Stayed at this hotel approximately 15 years ago. It's a very nice hotel overlooking sea. Easy access to beach. Variety of food available. Staff very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to couples and families.

Lovely beach
Pebble beach with crystal clear waters. Food was tasty and hotel OK. There is a kettle in the room but the TV only had an English news channel as was very bad reception. If you want to visit places you may need a car. There is a bus stop outside and it is for the Green buses route that goes to Corfu Town and returns from the Bus Station not the centre. The animation team didn't seem to have much organised for everyone. Some evenings and in the day time there wasn't any real entertainment. If you to any trips yourself the Madelana boat trip from Gouvia was excellent and great value for money. On the AI we got free Wi-Fi.

Friendly, Cozy Resort with private Beach Access
We arrived very late at the resort after a long flight from the U.S. Our hotel staff greeted us with kindness and professionalism. Although there weren't any snacks to eat, we were offered a welcome cocktail before we left for our room. The room was just right for the price. The hotel is situated off the beach where guests have private access along with a restaurant and bar. We didn't spend much time at the resort due to the lack of activities. However, we didn't mind the quiet laid back setting. The buffet was good, but recommend getting to the buffet when it opens. Food did sit for awhile and did not keep its temperature. However, there is a microwave so you could warm up your plate. The entertainment was amusing and would have enjoyed more if the hotel offered. Overall, I strongly recommend this resort to anyone looking for relaxation on a beautiful Greek Island.

Great location
The location is absolutely perfect. The views are stunning and rooms big enough to be able to relax and enjoy the view. Air con was very good so nice to retreat when it got too hot. Beach and pool were fabulous, plenty of places to sit and relax without being overcrowded (although perhaps this was because it was in May rather than August). Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Slight downside was the food. It was never very hot and wasoverly salty, and sometimes not the best quality, but saying that we never left a meal time hungry. The drinks machines seemed to be not working quite regularly. I highly recommend the souvlaki at the beach bar though. Mini market was very useful for bits and pieces we had forgotten to bring.

AVOID THIS HOTEL
Pros: The staff Cons: Everything else! Worst "4 star hotel" I have ever been in my entire life. You need to connect the room key inside the room to have running electricity. Only one electricity socket in the entire room (and not near the bed). No shampoo / conditioner provided, only one "super soap" connected to the bathroom wall. Tiny (!) TV. Breakfast is served until 10:00 am, we arrived one day at 10:00 (exactly) only to discover that they already took away the serving utensils and turned off the coffee and juice machines. Facilities very old and run down. Very bad experience. We literally avoided being at the hotel as much as possible.

Regarding the breakfast we would like to inform you that it starts at the Main Restaurant from 07.00 a.m. until 10.00 a.m. and at 10.30 until 12.00 we serve late breakfast by the the Beach Bar.The key fob is to operate the electricity when you are in your room as we use eco friendly systems. Nice hotel, close to beach, but....
The hotel is too far from local amenities. It is a 5-10 minute taxi/bus ride to the nearest town (taxi costs 10 euros). therefore, if you have not hired a car you are confined to the hotel to a certain extent. This is fine if you are happy to go 'all inclusive', getting all your meals etc at the hotel, however, if you like to go shopping or strolling in town and experiencing the local culture, including different eateries, this is not the hotel for you, as it is a little isolated. Also, you need to be brave to drive around here. The roads are narrow with no markings on many roads and local drivers seem impatient with people who don't know the roads. Because of this it is not easy to just go for a walk locally - there's no footpath and no street lighting. The hotel is fine if you just want the beach by day and the hotel by night with everything included but you need to get a taxi or bus to do something different. Personally I would not stay here again as I prefer to experience a holiday resort and its environs more than I felt I could do here. Finally, if you stay in an apartment there are lots of steps if you are on the top level and there is no internet access if you need it - internet is only available in the hotel building for an additional fee. The apartment was cleaned daily and, notwithstanding the steps, suited us as a family of five as it was both quiet and clean.

With respect to your comment regarding the location we are suprised to hear it as our hotel is located above the coastal road 15 km from Corfu town, 3 km from Benitses and 5 km from Moraitika with public bus stop just outside the hotel and a second bus stop five hundred meters away and with a cost of two euro each way you can visit many areas of interest and shops. The hotel looked very nice from the outside and had a very nice reception area. But that's as much as I can say about it because as soon as we arrived we were told that hotels.com had overbooked and we couldn't stay! We had to move to another hotel! Let's just say communication with hotels.com is ongoing for ruining our holiday!

Delapidated hotel with disinterested staff
Hotel NOT as it appears on website. Old crumbling and felt dirty. Lifts not fit for purpose as you wait ages for one to arrive and they are tiny old and there is no air conditioning. The pools are set up the cliff side and the lifts only take you half way. You walk the rest in the heat. Sea views are obscured by lemon trees but you have to sit on an old balcony anyway so not much holiday atmosphere. The bedroom we had was sparse and old. Cracking linoleum floor with the hardest beds. Felt dirty. The en suite bathroom was grimy and at least 20 years old. Toilet seat slipped to side. Very plastic. Staff were disinterested in helping us with anything. Possibly overworked though. The manager was totally lacking in empathy when a virus went round the little children at the hotel. Didn't help get clients to the nearest pharmacy who didn't have cars. Plastic cups and cheap drinks which were nearly always flat if you tried the sodas. Not going back.

In regards to the lifts we would like to inform you that a regular maintenance is carried out and they are certified by external professiona company. The swimming pools are located , the first one near the main building and the other further up but both of them was near to your room. We are sorry to see that your room was not up to your liking we only wish you had inform us while you were here to try to find another room for you.We are suprised by tyour comment regarding our staff as we usually receive much praise from our satisfied guests however we duly note your comments for future ameliortions. Regarding your comment of illness, as per our records you have not reported any person in your party to be ill or you needed any doctor or assistance.Concering the glasses we would like to inform you that we use reusable plastic glasses by the pools and the beach for the safety of our guests but in the evening we use proper glasses at the bars and restaurants.Louis Hotels have many other properties in Cyprus and Greece so perhaps you will find another Louis Hotel more pleasing. Enjoyed Our Stay!
We had a great holiday at this hotel. We wanted a quiet relaxing week and pretty much got what we wanted. With a choice of pools and beach, food and drink available and plenty of choices at meal times. A nice touch was that we arrived after the resturant was closed so some rolls were put in the room fridge for us.There were plenty of activities if we wanted them, staff were friendly and helpful and the room and complex was kept clean to a good standard. If I was going to be critical of anything, the room was't what I would call 4 star but was comfortable enough, having said that, we didn't have a seaview room so they might be better and brighter. So overall a good experience and we would certainly return again.

Perfect for a few days of wine and beach!
Great staff environment. Rooms were really clean but basic. Food was nothing amazing but for price was good. Nice variety in salad bar and hot foods. Beach was pebbled but really nice. Pool side average, but nothing to complain about. Staff were good to get people involved in pool activities. There were a lot of kids however being teachers we went during Easter break and therefore could be the reason for this.

Had a lovely restful week. Beach and pool well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Air Con did not work properly and the bedroom furniture could have done with some TLC (or updating) but overall hotel and room very clean. Thoroughly enjoyable week.

Nice hotel with good room
We had an excellent experience with this hotel. Food was really good and the restaurant staff were hard working and impressive. We booked a room with partial view but were upgraded to a family room with sea view. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good area with less crowd. The beach is neat and the staff at the bar in the beach were good. It would have been much better if the reception staff were a bit more informative. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

An all-inclusive worth every penny
We have just come back from the Primasol Louis Ionian Sun in Corfu and it was our first experience of an all-inclusive. We opted for an all-inclusive as we have a 4 year old who eats for England and we felt that we wanted a holiday where we didn't have to worry about money. Although we were nervous we had no need to be. We didn't arrive to the hotel until 23.00pm and the staff had kindly left three cold plated meals in our room, straight away we could see they were caring to your needs. The Hotel is spread over many levels and it let us move about with our four year old in a way that he didn't get bored. The private beach was excellent with crystal blue sea, beach bar and the snorkelling was a great hit with plenty of fish to see. One night we had a storm and it brought seaweed onto the beach, within hours that morning there were men raking it up. Everything was clean and tidy and I'd definitely say to book a sea view rooms at the extra cost for the view, having that made our holiday that little more special. The food served in the restaurant was themed every night, giving you something new to try every day, there was a huge selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. If I were to give the hotel some constructive criticism from our stay I would say that there bar staff need to be trained up better, the cocktails were pretty basic and sometimes the bars were unmanned. The waiters in the restaurant however were excellent and always put a smile on our faces.

The relaxing hoilday
This was a really lovely relaxed holiday. The hotel and staff fantastic. The beach was so near the sea clear. Would go there again really enjoyed it.

First off, the staff and service level were outstanding. The property itself is quite isolated with the nearest village approx 10 min by bus. It is also quite old and despite some make shift renovations still looks a little run down. Room was spacious but the beds were extremely hard. Lot's of empty wall space that should have had some hooks installed to hang towels, etc. Afterall, it is a beach resort. Food was plentiful and for the most part quite satisfactory. Nightly entertainment ws sub-par at best. Mostly western type music that I can listen to at home. When I visit a certain place, I expect to experience their culture, therefore, predominent Greek music and entertainment would have been welcome with some others mixed in for variety.

Diffenrent but enjoyable
We are an early 50’s couple and this was our first trip to Greece The stay at the Primasol Louis Ionian Sun was pleasant but the hotel is older and a bit drab. The rooms are very basic with little if any character. I did have an issue with the air conditioning. The first room I checked into was in the main large building and found the a/c basically useless. After sweating it out one July night, I told the front desk that the a/c in my room wasn’t working. They sent someone to fix it, but after a second sweaty night I again told them that if was not working. The front desk manager relocated us to a room high up the hill overlooking the pool and sea. This one of 2-3 newer buildings that are separate from the main large tower. The newer room had modern and useful a/c and saved my stay. That being said, the location of the hotel is quite nice – right on its own somewhat pebbly beach. The resort/hotel is an all-inclusive and we found the food quite good. I was amazed at the staff’s ability to feed maybe one thousand people a decent breakfast and dinner buffet (better than most casino buffets I’ve experienced). I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. I rented a car and spent the majority of my four days exploring Corfu and it seems 90% of the guests stayed at the resort for the beach and booze. If you are a go-out-and-explore kind of traveler you will definitely want a car as this hotel is too far from the main town and the busses looked packed and hot.

What a Fantastic Week in Corfu. Thank you Louis Hotel Regency Beach
We have just returned from an excellent, relaxing family holiday. The hotel was everything I had hoped after reading the reviews: The food and drink was fantastic. Loved the fish dishes and Greek entrees--there was always something wonderful to choose from. The wine and cocktails were also excellent, and thanks to the wonderful staff for mixing them up by pool and seaside! Our cleaning lady was lovely. She fussed over my baby and made us feel welcome. The trip also proved a success as we were nervous travelling with a 5 month old and a 2 year old, but the hotel/beach is great for kids and adults alike. The beach is shallow and pebbly (which was actually quite nice--no sand stuck to you and/or kids) and the sea was warm, clear and lovely. We also brought our own snorkel gear, which I recommend. We were able to sit on the beach loungers within feet of the water and watch our toddler safely play in the sea which was marvelous. Of course the beach bar was also a favourite. The pool was also nice and clean--well maintained and snacks/drinks offered throughout the day. The sea view was nice, weather perfect and hot and the overall experience wonderful. My only request is that we would have enjoyed a bit more traditional Greek entertainment, although the kids were amused by the evening shows it was a bit cheesy for our tastes. Fantastic Holiday! Great Hotel.
We've just returned from a lovely week at the Louis Regency Beach. Travelling with a 4 month old and a 2 year old (and my mother who had flown in from the States) were a bit nervous as to whether the hotel would suit both our children and adults alike. The overall hotel and experience was fabulous. It wasn't as decadent or luxurious as past stays in all-inclusives in the Dominican Republic or Mexico, but it was just what we needed considering the price and location. The food and drink was excellent. Great wine and cocktails at both the pool and beach bars. The selection of fresh food appealed to all- really nice hot and cold selections. The beach was actually really great for all of us, especially having a toddler as we could sit on the loungers and watch her safely play in the water. I recommend bringing snorkel gear if you enjoy this as we loved swimming with the fish, and there was no gear to rent or buy. It was fantastic night-time swimming for adults as well! The pebbly beach did not bother any of us--in fact it was quite nice not having sand stuck in young childrens' mouths and clothes. The pool was also quite lovely. Nice and clean and a good place to relax in the morning with plenty of loungers and sun umbrellas available. Bar and snacks available all day at the pool as well, and endless supplies of ice cream for the kiddies. The 6th floor terrace is lovely in the evening, overlooking the sea. Great hotel, great holiday. Many thanks.

Familienzimmer sind extrem klein
Hotel ist auf mehreren Ebenen. Kinderpool ist auf der obersten Terrasse. Buffet okay, aber nicht berauschend. Vor allem negativ, dass die beschriebenen Familienzimmer extrem klein sind! Beschrieb auf Hotels.com sehr ungenau bzw. Bild mit Slide-Door ist irreführend. Wir haben in ein Appartement gewechselt - ohne Aufpreis! Sehr zuvorkommend. Diese Appartements sind aber ausserhalb der Hotelanlage, ca. 3 Minuten an der Strasse entlang. Housekeeping kam erst am 2. Tag nachdem wir es an der Reception gemeldet haben.
