I was in Jakarta for a single night and this hotel didn't fail to disappoint. It is in one of the main business districts in the city, with easy access to the train station (20min cab ride).
Check in was quick and easy, and the room did not disappoint. Had all the amenities one would except from a business hotel and importantly the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was good and check out was quick and easy as well!
If you are travelling with children don't pay extra for a club room. The hotel will deny you access to the club lounge and throw you one floor down by the staircase with no ac or proper services.
Rooms all suffer from lack of AC. Once you check in ask them to come fix the ac. Even then you need to drop the temp to the absolute minimum and hope for the best
Stayed here twice in the last 3 weeks, once for a night and then came back for another 5 night stay, as the first impression was good enough to warrant a return.
Only issue I had was when I checked in the 2nd time, they tried to put me in a smoking room after asking for non smoking, but they changed this easily.
Breakfast menu is more catered towards the local Asian and Indian foods, rather than a traditional western breakfast you find at other hotels, but it was complimentary so I really could not complain.
Staff were really great, always happy and ready to help.
Rooms were a good size, clean, a useful cupboard space, bed was comfortable and great, bathroom was spacious as well. The in-room internet could get a bit slow at times.
Amenities like the the gym and pool area were great and not crowded thankfully, likewise the downstairs bar had a good feel about it, with the bar staff being able to make a few special request drinks no issues. Local lady DJ they had there a few nights added a bit of extra atmosphere as well.
The location was good, depending on the traffic/ time of day its pretty central and the big Kota Casablanca Mall is a only couple of minutes walk away.
I usually stay at other hotels when in Jakarta, but will be making this my new choice, mainly as it is so well priced for the quality you get.
We had a two bedroom suite which was very big. The main bedroom had a super king sized bed, a walk in robe and a huge bathroom. The staff were all very polite and the breakfast provided a good range of Asian and European dishes. The hotel is an easy 20 minute walk from Thamrin and Plaza Indonesia, though the pavement is not always in the best condition.

Staff are its greatest asset. Facilities wise it's not good. Spa and Food is just basic. Nothing compared to Gran Melia. The rooms are equally aged. Also, the shower knob is not good. it's either too hot or too cold. the aircon is not central system so when you return to room at the end of the way, it's very hot in there. takes about half hour to cool down. There's only one charging point in each room. In other ways, cannot charge computer and boil water at the same time.
