It's a simple hotel. There is a scrapyard by the main entrance of the hotel that causes a bad impression, but it doesn't really affect the quality of the hotel. It's well located, close to the downtown. The pool was okay, and my family had a good time playing there; the breakfast was good; the room was okay, but not squeaky clean. But the main problem was the heater/air conditioning: it was super noisy and woke all of us all night long every time it turned on. Mainly for this reason we are not staying there in our way back home, because we will try a newer hotel.

Surprise! Despite choosing a pet room, and Expedia saying the price included all fees, Surprise! They hit you with another pet fee when you check in. Whomp whomp. Don’t blame the hotel, but that’s negligent on Expedia’s part not to advise of this anywhere. The hotel: The room smelled like stale cigarettes and the bathroom was so gross that we didn’t even shower there. The laminate floor in the main room clearly had not been washed in a long time, because when we wiped up some water on the floor, the cloth was dark brown. Yucky! The pillows were flat as pancakes and need to be replaced. The breakfast buffet room is very small and cramped and it’s hard for people to maneuver in the room to get any food. Food offerings are pancakes, bread you can toast, yogurt, sugary kids cereals, juice and coffee. The coffee comes from a machine that only makes one cup at a time, and takes a long time to brew each cup. All in all, it was a last minute place for us to stay on a road trip. But we wouldn’t go back again.
