Comfortable, but noisy!
The Kicking Horse Resort is lovely - we really enjoyed the amenities... the food was good, with lots of activities - mountain biking, hiking, the gondola, and the Grizzly Refuge. The Palliser was a bit of a ways from the main buildings of the resort, but not too far to be really inconvenient. The suites are well attired, very clean, and comfortable - BUT the walls are paper thin! I have never been in a building with so little soundproofing. When our neighbours arrived in their suite, it really sounded like they were in our own bedroom! There was underground parking, but not nearly enough for the whole hotel, and the spots are very, very tight. We ended up parking outside most of the stay.
If you'd like to stay at the Kicking Horse Resort, definitely try one of the rooms in the main resort first!
