Condo-style accommodations with an incredible view

Posted 17-Aug-2016
Pros: The view, the beds, overall comfort and design and decor. Location is so beautiful.
Cons: A few nooks and crannies needed dusting.
Location: Take the gondola up to the top of the mountain where there are hiking trails and a bear refuge. Some good restaurants nearby and other chalets.
We loved it at Glacier Mountaineer Lodge. We had an amazing view of the mountains, and the building is situated right at the foot of the gondola and ski lifts. The loft-style condo was very spacious, and everything we needed was provided. The ensuite laundry was really great, too. the beds were super comfortable memory foam, and the bathtubs were deep! Overall very satisfied with our stay, and would definitely stay here again.

It's a great place that needs one improvement.

Great place, staff are great, room is great except for one surprise. No A/C and no window that opens. Would've had to leave the door open all night for air flow. The big fan provided was loud and kept my two year old up. If this was winter I would have not commented because room temperature would be fine. In summer the temp was not acceptable.

Location and comfort

Posted 13-Jul-2016
Beautiful, clean room with a home-like feeling. Comfortable bed and had full kitchen plus in-room laundry! Sofa bed okay for kids but very uncomfortable for anyone over 85 pounds (springy). Steps from gondola and chair lift 😃 Will be back!

Tiny room, nowhere to sit and eat.

Posted 11-Jul-2016
Pros: It is close the Kicking Horse Resort.
Cons: The size of the room is definitely not worth the price. Reduce the price or notify customers that the room is tiny and there is no place to eat etc.
Location: Close by the Kicking Horse Resort, 2 restaurants within walking distance.
Hotel staff wasn't very friendly. I arrived 3:50pm and wanted to check in as we had a very long drive, the hotel staff was rude and stated that check in isn't until 4pm. They did not tell us where our room was and just gave us the key and told us we can use the garage to park our car. We got into the room and realized that the room was incredibly tiny. There was nowhere to sit and have a meal, no microwave, no toaster.
