Pros: the location
Cons: room cleanliness and breakfast
The location and the view from the hotel is nice, but rooms were not properly vacuumed. The swimming pool was not that great. Break fast was so so as they had not many variety. Management should know there are different religious people stays there, so rather having only pork sausage they could have chicken or beef

Dreadful Noisy Night

Posted 19-May-2016
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Rebuild from the ground?!?
Location: Highway motel. Not great access.
Our room had tissue paper thin walls. A tour group came in at 10:30 pm and banged and dropped heavy things in the room overhead and beside us all night long!!! We could hear everything that went on in the next rooms and overhead. No sleep at all! When I complained to front desk staff in the morning, they just shrugged. Should have driven through from Edmonton to Penticton...no sleep makes for a poor start to our vacation!!

Cheap and dirty

Posted 18-May-2016
We knew the hotel was cheap but didn't realize how OLD everything would be. Furnishings were old, carpet was so dirty and disgusting that we refused to take off our shoes. Bedding reeked of bleach and both of us were stuffed up with colds for days after our one night there. Bathroom was hideous, wouldn't even shower there. Walk to the mountain view rooms was dangerous and horribly lit. But what can you expect for $111? Thankfully we were on our way to luxury accommodations.

Nice friendly staff.Shower head pressure excellent

Good location. Nice view. Very friendly staff especially in the breakfast room the gentleman has the best friendly smile. Don't appreciate too much of the restaurant/bar , the food quality is poor. I belive this is a lease out business. Not run by the hotel. At least they should make the soup and hot water hot. The raustarant has beautiful mountain view. For some finger food is fine but not for fine dinning. Good value for money of hotel room. Will recommend to friends.

One night stopover

Posted 16-May-2016
Booked for one night stopover on way back to Edmonton. Check on was easy and room was adequate but needs to be updated. The hot tub was filthy when my wife and child went to use it. Several things floating in it, not good. Was quoted wrong time for continental breakfast so when we showed up there was little to nothing left and the orange juice coming out of the machine was just water with colour. Had stayed here before and it was much better

Comfortable beds and good breakfast

Posted 04-May-2016
Pros: Breakfast was great and you have incredible view from the bistro to the mountains. There is nice backyard as well were you can enjoy the fresh air.
Cons: Internet speed can be improved.
Location: The town has a great wooden bridge. Worth to stop by.
We stayed at this hotel for a night. View from the window is amazing! The room was spacious and clean. In the room we had coffee machine, microwave, fridge, iron, hairdryer and flat tv.

Leuk hotel/motel. Vanuit de tuin en het restaurant een waanzinnig uitzicht op de bergen. Prima plek voor uitstapjes richting banff en lake Louis. WiFi verbinding is niet heel erg goed.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking your time to write such a good and detailed review! We are so happy to read that you had such a good experience at our hotel. IGolden B.C has low bandwidth this means slow network performance. There has been a continuous community effort to bring in Fiber optics with higher bandwidth and latency. We truly appreciate it and we hope to welcome you back to us soon!
