kids loved the pool facilities

Posted 27-Aug-2015
Pros: pool area and full breakfast
Cons: elevators
Location: right off hwy 1, easy to find
kids had a blast in the pool facilities, room was large, keurig machine for coffee a bonus, breakfast hot and cold with good variety~a nice way to begin a day, only con to this hotel is no elevators, so with heavy luggage it was a difficult to go up the stairs, but hotel staff assisted me which was really nice. I would stay again!

Everything was good except for the on and off cold and hot water of the shower.

Just adequate

Posted 25-Aug-2015
Staff was not overly helpful. The restaurant was very overpriced with small portions very a basic "special salad". Free WiFi was unusable. Free breakfast was cold and unappetizing. Bathroom tile grouting was very dirty. Hotel was really a big motel and not a 3 star as advertised. Won't be back.

Buon albergo, camera spaziosa e pulita, comodo come sosta per accedere al parco di Yohi. La colazione è varia E il personsle è gentile e disponibile.

Goiod location but too many kids making noise.

We could not get hot water for shows during the two nights that we stayed. When we complained to managment, they were not interested about our concerns. There was absolutely no hot water in the mornings. We will not stay at this hotel again.

We had a late check in and on the road booking and the staff was more than accommodating, the meal was a bit shocking when we got the bill but we chalked it up to being in BC and the prices are a bit unreal anyway.

Pros: Convenient location, fairly reasonable pricing
Cons: Halls were in poor shape.
Location: Close to highway without being right on it. Easy enough to get into town
Ok for a quick overnight while travelling. Room itself was pretty clean but the halls were in need of clean up and paint. Saw a small silverfish in the bathroom although it looked overall pretty clean.

the motel was completely full with two buses of foreign tourists so the staff was running to keep up but they did a good job. The morning breakfast was a full and well done considering the numbers of people all at one time. They appear to be just in the finishing stages of upgrading all the rooms and facilities.

Decent enough place

Posted 18-Aug-2015
Pros: It IS conveniently located at the east end of town making it easy to get back on the highway.
Cons: It IS a little tired looking, could use some sprucing up.
Location: There is a bar & restaurant at the Inn but you'll find more selection downtown.Try the Taps of Golden for decent food and craft beers.
Was just looking for a reasonably priced place in Golden on my way back to Edmonton. Not exactly my first choice but decent enough for one night.
