Spacious apartment in central location
Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with great ocean views. My husband and I booked here because our daughters were attending a party here that day/night and were very pleased with everything. Receptionist was friendly and the apartment was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Would advise not to stay at this property.No air conditioning,the floors and doors look as though they have not been cleaned fo 12 months. We would not stay at this propery again even if for free.BAD

property is old kitchen tap falling out toilet seat broken very sparce seating lift broken place needs a total revamp linen in hallway very disapointed (paid top dollar) not happy.

Amazing hostel all round. They let me check in early and helped me locate shops after my luggage was lost. It’s in a brilliant location, 15 minutes from the airport and near the lake, beach and several shopping facilities. The hostel had Great facilities, amazing atmosphere and the staff went above and beyond for me... I was absolutely gutted when I had to leave, but will absolutely be coming back again soon!

A hostel without a kitchen for a use is frustrating. Maybe even just a kettle and small bay fridge could be supplied at least. I think the breakfast should be served one hour earlier given NSW time so close to the border.

Excellent location accross the road from the beach and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Property needs a bit of maintenance and the hotplates on the stove didn't work very well.

Gold Coast Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay it was a bit noisy till late with the event on around the pool area, but we made the most of it just enjoying the dj kicking up some funky tunes while we sipped our champagne and ate our charcuterie on the balcony watching the sunset over the Gold Coast wuth the surfers paradise skyscrapers as a backdrop. Just perfect. A quick waltz down the street to a good chioce of restaurants and bars. Our king size bed was perfect for a great nights sleep followed by a delicious breakfast at Point Danger on the headland with great coffee at DBar. Was great to getaway.

This place is great - I expect it is most suitable for young people as it is close to entertainment and has its own. I liked it because I had a view of the beach on one side and the river on the other. I could cook for myself and the place was beautifully decorated - all white tiles and minimalist style.

he pool and spa area with restaurant and reception from 8.30 am to 9.00pm was great. The noise was loud but not so bad when you shut all doors.

The whole day core is old and outdated. Over priced. Staff were rude. Given nothing to clean mess up with and than get told we arnt receiving our 150$ bond back due to apparently more cleaning than usual. We were forced to leave a cash deposit otherwise we couldn’t check in. Floors were sticky. Didn’t even seem like the rooms had been properly cleaned before arrival. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Our response to the above follows: We at Komune have a strict no party policy in our rooms, unfortunately although this was signed on the registration paper on arrival this was not followed through during your stay. We have held the $150 bond as there was excess cleaning fees due to the state of the apartment on departure & evidence of smoking throughout the apartment. Damages in the room including but not limited to broken furniture & a hole in the wall were also found upon departure. We are happy to discuss any of the above should you wish to. I definitely don't think that this place was worth the cost. We stayed on a Sunday night - the pool/amenities aren't accessible due to the high volume of people using the bar area, unless you want to line up on the street to try to get in - Extremely loud music until midnight and balconies are not private at all. Wish we paid a bit more to stay somewhere nicer.

The room was old and not clean. We stayed for 2 days, and did not sleep for 2 nights due to the noise from the nightclub in the hotel. We asked for clean towels and milk on the second day and did not receive them. Would not recommend or stay there again. It's way overpriced for what it is!!

First impression was the garage that literally smelt like human feces. The room had mould on the walls and in the bathroom. The bed sheets had holes in them. All the furniture was broken with the exception on the couch however this was so filthy we could see remains of other people's skin. We walked in then walked out didn't even bother to stay.

The property was in disgusting condition. There were lines of dust on the wall, the toaster needed to be binned, there was filth encrusted onto surfaces. The floors were sticky. The fridge smelt terribly and had water in the freezer compartment that looked almost mouldy. The shower was ok but wore my Flip-flops at all times.

Good budget accommodation in a good location near the beach. Great for surfers and weekend party animals. Outdoor area a little weathered looking, although if you can overlook this, nice pool and pool spa. Rooms are clean and comfortable with locker storage. Also, a free breakfast to get you going!
