"The house is directly in the nature. It is in a valley, so you should have some driving skills, since the driveway is pretty steep. Around the house you will find your "garden". It is really big, so you will need about half an hour to walk around everything. There even is a little creek, so you can cool your feet. "The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. "If you are looking for a home in this part of Portugal - this is the place. A wonderful location (there's TONS to do in the area and the hosts provide you with so much information to pick and choose from), a peaceful setting and wonderful accommodations. The pool is wonderful and has a grill and dining area next to it. A wonderful stay with wonderful hosts. I could see us going back here in a heartbeat!"

"River view room was very comfortable and the hotel was convenient to everything. Breakfast and the roof deck were a plus. Tomas and Jose at the front desk were spot on with their recommendations for a local flavor. The shower and bathroom do have glass doors so you might have to time things for privacy if that is needed. "
