After a painful 12 hr bus ride to Panjim, we took a taxi to reach the hotel. Even though the hotel was relatively unknown to the locals, it was fairly easy to find since it is located right on the main road.
At the hotel, we were greeted with a much needed welcome drink and we checked into the hotels. We weren't particularly happy with the allocated rooms, but a room capacity of just 30 left us with no other choice.
Rooms are compact, furnished with AC, TV, a decent-sized cupboard and locker. The small attached bathroom is just about functional with hot water available all through the day. Toiletries provided by the hotel are of poor quality, so its better to carry your own.
There is a scope of improvement in the house keeping department. Upon check-in we noticed that the bathroom wasn't clean, which left a bad impression.
Location-wise the hotel is very convenient. Its just five minutes walk to the Candolim beach. One can reach the more popular beaches Calangute/Baga after 15-20 minutes along the beach. There are numerous restaurants, stores within walking distance from the hotel.
Hotel staff is polite but can be unhelpful at times. Specifically, we were looking for transportation through the hotel but we found the staff to be very reluctant to help us out. So we were left to look out for transportation on our own.
We had a couple of meals at the hotel's restaurant. Restaurant service is good and we didn't have any complaints about the food.
