Pros: Location for what we wanted.
Location: Not explored yet.
Received a warm cookie on arrival. Restaurant meal was good. Could hear noise from corridor and next room. Clean but shower difficult to work out no instructions.

Comfortable hotel, poor internet connection

The hotel was comfortable, and the welcoming me cookie on check in was very nice. The gym and pool are good facilities for the hotel. The internet connection in the rooms was very bad and as the reason for me staying in he hotel was work related having good internet connection is vital, this caused a bit of an issue throughout the stay

Comfortable Hotel

Pros: We enjoyed the comfort and appreciated the friendly attitude of the staff.
Cons: No
Location: Didn't visit anywhere locally on ethics trip.
Stayed one night to break a journey. Liked it so much that we will definitely return and explore Cheltenham and the surrounding area.

Below expectations

A great disappointment considering the cost of the room. We struggled to find parking despite the large parking area. Room was clean but we had no hot water and the phone was faulty. Queuing for 20 minutes to be seated for breakfast was a surprise and then queuing again at the breakfast buffet really wasn't amusing. The only thing I could recommend would be the friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely hotel in the cotswolds

Lovely helpful and friendly staff, our only two disappointments were the restaurant service where we waited half an hour for 9ur drinks to arrive and the WiFi signal in the hotel. Otherwise all round lovely stay especially the free cookies on check in which were delicious.

Fine for short breaks.

Room furniture very dated. Comfy bed. No minibar but wouldn't have used it anyway. Room safe didn't work. Maintenance man couldn't fix it. Not replaced Buffet breakfast nice. Didn't have main meal in hotel but pub attached to hotel nice food.

The pool are and changing rooms were dirty, not checked regularly & cold pool water, only used once during our 2 night stay. I would not rate this a 4 star hotel.

No heating in the bedroom. Was offered a fan heater, refused and was moved to same level room. Breakfast ok plenty to choose from even for a vegetarian like myself.

Paying for a name

This is a huge hotel which facilities don't match to the size of it. The spa was over crowded so didn't feel relaxing, there were seats left in the bar so had to go back to our room to drink our drinks. Everything felt run down.
