Had a great weeks stay with friends. The Motor Inn has a lovely Restaurant, Rooms are a great size, and service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

From the time we rolled in. Two hours early mind you. After a long flight. Was We’re just looking too get our head down Dave found a room gave us the keys. With a great smile. An we did The rooms are clean. Rather tiny shower area. But. I’m not complaining. Just saying In the afternoon did our washing an drying. Free of charge. Breakfast an dining area is very nice an clean. Had a great cooked breakfast All an all great value for money. Would stay next time in town

Thank you for your review. We are currently undertaking renovations of our showers. In the past guests have required a large wardrobe for hanging space, this is not the case nowadays so we are taking half the wardrobe and giving it to the shower, making the shower twice the size. I hope we see you again so you can see the better shower.

Huge 2 bedroom unit with sleeping for 6, twice as much as we needed. Fairly quiet despite the highway frontage. Access by stairs made carrying luggage more difficult.

The overall rating is based on what one would expect from this type of hotel. It is not a fancy tourist venue, but a modestly priced family hotel. As such it is excellent value for money the staff friendly and helpful. It has a pleasant dining room with a fairly priced not overly pretentious menu. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with the standard facilities.

Thick dust on all curtains and ledges in bathroom. Mould In tiop of shower. Food rubbish not removed one day and no big bins on property to throw it away ourselves. Good location but needs to be updated and cleaned properly.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry that you were disappointed with your accommodation and that things were missed when the room was housekept. As your review is anonymous I cannot make sure that this room is corrected, however I have checked all rooms in an effort to have the housekeeper advised of the problems. It would appear from your comment of updating that you may have had a standard room, if you were to revisit us we would happily upgrade you FOC to a newly renovated room. Only 4 rooms to go! Good Hobart area Motel
Nice place to stay while in the Hobart area - beds were good and it was clean. We enjoyed that they gave us plenty of towels and the breakfast in the morning was quite good. They also had complimentary washer/dryer available which was wonderful. We stayed there upon arrival to Tasmania and then before we left and are glad we did!

The bed was comfy but the bathroom very outdated. Dinner was not cooked and raw chicken is not acceptable. No apology and was charged in full.

I do hope you enjoyed your other meals each night. A renovation schedule is being undertaken on our standard room bathrooms but unfortunately had not reached your room yet.
