Isles Of Glencoe Hotel

"Cet hôtel jouis d'un emplacement exceptionnel à l'entrée de Glencoe et avec une vue magnifique sur le loch voisin. Les chambres sont très correctes, malgré une literie un peu vieille. La restauration est bonne, bien qu'un peu chère. Le breakfast est très bon, dommage que le buffet se trouve dans une petite pièce à une extrémité du restaurant. Le maitre d ’hôtel Lorand (qui connait au moins un mot de chaque langue) nous aura fait passer de bon moments au restaurant avec sa bonne humeur communicative. A recommander sans hésitation."

"This hotel was okay, but nothing special apart from the lounge where the bar was and the fact that you can use the adjacent water facilities to a certain extent. However, I did think it was overpriced as the room wasn’t really any different from any other hotel room. The staff were helpful, my room was clean but there are a few cobwebs in the corners and the bathroom was a little tacky. I would imagine some of the rooms have a lovely view over the harbour but all I had was a bit of manky garden. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and it isn’t very far from the ferry terminal, so it’s quite convenient."

"We stayed at the hotel for three nights. It is centrally located and easy to get around from there. The hotel is nice and clean, and feels cozy even though it is a bit worn. The staff is helpful and very welcoming. The breakfast was nice - there were many warm dishes, bread, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, granola, juices, coffee, tea and cocoa. We had a room on the 4th floor from which we had a view of both the mountains and the water."

"The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was decent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. One of our ground floor rooms was next to the car park which was a little disconcerting, but not noisy, so that was a relief. Another ground floor room looked onto an alley, but was clean and comfortable. Overall we would probably use this hotel again. We enjoyed exploring Fort William and Neptune's Staircase and saw wonderful scenery. We were traveling by train (no car) so were limited as to where we could get to on the bus and by walking. The hotel is a fairly short walk from the train station just outside Fort William town center."
