"After a rigorous tour of Scotland, landing at this hotel was much needed! It was a peaceful and relaxing environment. The staff (both the reception and restaurant staff) were some of the nicest that I encountered my whole trip. I would recommend this hotel for sure."

"Nice welcome at reception. Lift to our room good. Room very basic, white painted walls with 1 poxy picture above the bed. Very basic furniture in room, wardrobe & sort of desk/dressing table. Nowhere to put the case so it went on the floor! Couple of chairs. Because we'd had a long day stopped here for dinner, acceptable 3 courses £25. Bar was busy with a coach party and only 1 person behind bar, occasionally aided by another. Bed not very comfy and ensuite smaller than the caravan's we'd just stayed in! Breakfast passable. All in all not the best place we'd stayed in during our trip around Scotland but one of the most expensive! Was that because we had a view of the loch?? Not one we'll return to. As usual nice friendly staff however."

The staff were wonderful and so kind and helpful—especially when I realized I had left some items in our room and had to return for them. Our stay here was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. We would happily stay at Cuilcheanna House again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"
