"The most modern hotel I've stayed ever"
Very nice modern hotel located in the heart of the city, in walking distance to the main 2 train station of Glasgow. Everything was good, but I would only suggest to the hotel owner to put a small fridge inside the rooms.

"Friendly staff, cool hotel"
I had a problematic room the first night, so the staff quickly made arrangements to move me to another room. They were so courteous and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and the floor is hip. The surrounding area is a bit shady, but nothing serious. Very centrally located. I liked it very much and recommend it fully.

"Excellent mid-range boutique hotel"
Overall very positive experience from check-in through to check out. Hotel and staff are really fine, except the restaurant which may be understaffed, especially at the height of the breakfast hour, on all three mornings of our stay, taking as much as 15 minutes to take food orders, the breakfast far often run out of glasses, plates, butter or other food stuffs. More disappointing, for a restaurant with a michelin star chef, dinner was mediocre at best, especially the set menu meals. My fish was dry and tough, obviously overcooked, My wife's gnocchi main dish was mushy potato in a plain tomato sauce not bad, just very bland. Bottom line, good place to stay. Improve the restaurant.

"Great location for Glasgow hydro."
Lovely little hotel. Good car parking. Lovely view over the Clyde. Beds are a little hard was told on check out that we could have requested a mattress topper.

Scotland’s largest city is the birthplace of world-renowned artist, designer and architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Little wonder then that hotels with an eye for design are in such plentiful supply in Glasgow. Mackintosh’s graceful Art Nouveau designs can be found across the city, from venues like Glasgow School of Art or absorbing attractions like House for an Art Lover.

    Cutting Edge Facilities

    Glasgow: Scotland’s Style Capital

Pay a visit to the striking Riverside Museum on the banks of the River Clyde. Admire a floating velodrome and learn about Glasgow’s industrial heritage through the stories of the people who shaped it at this award-winning, landmark building.

Head back into the city centre for a bite to eat at the elegant Willow Tea Rooms, before you explore The Lighthouse, Mackintosh’s very first commission. The Lighthouse is home to the fascinating Macintosh Interpretation Centre, where you can learn more about Glasgow’s most famous son.
