"Not bad"
Not on a par with Malmaison Aberdeen or Leeds but still pleasant. Room booked through Expedia was on the small (and dark) side. We noted other comments about the road noise and were concerned when at 1am, what sounded like a racing car on Brands Hatch revved up outside our door but this turned out to be the only incident. Front desk staff were "ok", restaurant and bar staff were outstanding.

"Beautiful hotel with a warm Scottish welcome"
A modern, stylish hotel with old world service and charm. This is my second visit and there will definitely be a third. The rooms and common areas are gorgeous, the staff friendly and willing to go above and beyond, the food is excellent and the location is central and lovely. Each request is met with a smile and a prompt follow through.

"Great Hotel"
I had never used the Hotel Indigo brand before but used this hotel after sifting through many reviews from multiple sites. Always remember reviews vary based on what people expect or want out of a hotel. We were staying one night in Glasgow before traveling the highlands. This hotel was in a great location and everyone was very friendly. Check-in was easy and all the staff was very friendly. We only had drinks here but everything was great. We used other restaurants in the city to eat. The room was clean and very enjoyable. As travelers, we only use the room to refresh, sleep and shower- this room was excellent for all those needs and very comfortable. Would recommend and definitely book again when in Glasgow. Also, Expedia was very efficient to book these hotels in advance (let me pay in $ and no hidden fees)-never had a problem with any booking.

"Great location "
Perfectly positioned in the city centre, this hotel has been created in an interesting old building. Many of the original features have been retained making it quite quirky. It still has an old cage lift in perfect working order. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, small but with good facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent value. This is the second time I've stayed here and I will definitely be back.

"Lovely hotel handy for transport links, bars and r"
This is a great hotel convenient for everything you might want to visit in Glasgow. Key code access as the hotel is situated on the sixth floor but has a 24 hour reception. We would have appreciated soap or face/body wash alongside the hand wash, shampoo and conditioner. Try the homemade cup cakes and cookies which are provided free for you to enjoy with your tea or coffee. Wonderful staff.

Pocket Guide: Design Hotels in Glasgow

Scotland’s largest city is the birthplace of world-renowned artist, designer and architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Little wonder then that hotels with an eye for design are in such plentiful supply in Glasgow. Mackintosh’s graceful Art Nouveau designs can be found across the city, from venues like Glasgow School of Art or absorbing attractions like House for an Art Lover.

    Cutting Edge Facilities

Several hotels set themselves apart with cutting edge facilities and futuristic décor. Others boast historic buildings and iconic locations. Many hotels blend these elements to dramatic effect, contrasting bold prints and chic minimalism with period features or retro stylings.

Use the Expedia search tool to browse a wide range of stylish accommodation in Glasgow.

    Glasgow: Scotland’s Style Capital

Pay a visit to the striking Riverside Museum on the banks of the River Clyde. Admire a floating velodrome and learn about Glasgow’s industrial heritage through the stories of the people who shaped it at this award-winning, landmark building.

Head back into the city centre for a bite to eat at the elegant Willow Tea Rooms, before you explore The Lighthouse, Mackintosh’s very first commission. The Lighthouse is home to the fascinating Macintosh Interpretation Centre, where you can learn more about Glasgow’s most famous son.
