Amazing
Amazing place. Room was comfortable and had everything that was needed. Breakfast was excellent. Jackie was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Billy was friendly to. I would definitely stay again if up in Ayr.

the room was very well appointed, and i only bumped my head once on the low ceilings! Breakfast is exceptional - couldn't finish it, loads of choice and freshly cooked, I accidently pulled onto the drive of the house next door but soon found the correct parking on the street nearby. - maybe a sign could be put up saying its for the guest house. wonderful hosts in a prime location. brill

Lovely guest house.
A lovely welcome on arrival very clean and all covid rules adhered too Easy to get around from guest house to visit places and walking. Good location for Ayr races.

Perfect stopover

The hostess was absolutely lovely. It was difficult for parking but she and her husband allowed us to park in their private parking area which was great. It was within walking distance to Alloway, shopping and dining.

Great stay in Ayr
We enjoyed our 3 days exploring Ayrshire in August. Turas-Mara provided a clean, bright, room, super soft bed & pillows with en-suite as a home base. Jackie was a wonderful host, serving up a great breakfast each morning. Off street parking, grocery, restaurants and pubs near by we highly recommend a stay at Turas-Mara.

Lovely rooms and breakfast
Stopped 3 nights as a family of 5. rooms were excellent with cumfy beds. Shower room very good. Breakfast bar was excellent and Jackie cooked a lovely fresh breakfast, There is off street parking for 3 cars and a 5mn walk to start of main street.

Great stay!
Right from the beginning, we were warmly welcomed. The whole house is spotless - including our sleeping room and en-suite bathroom. Our breakfasts were excellent - piping hot and tasty. The location is very handy for buses, trains and Prestwick Airport. Great for walking - very handy to shops, restaurants and pubs in the town - and breathtaking walks by the River Ayr and seaside.

Thoroughly enjoyable 2 night stay at this delightful B&B . Comfortable bed excellent facilities etc. A really nice welcome and Poached eggs for breakfast were superb,convenient for shops, restaurants,petrol all local activities. Well recommended.

Great place to stay.
Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, adequately heated. 6 min walk or 2 min taxi ride from Ayr train station. You can walk to Morrisons in 5 mins and to the town centre in 10 mins. We arrived late (midnight) and Jackie waited up for us! Lovely customised hot vegetarian breakfast with cereal and filter coffee :) All necessities (towels, loo roll, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, moisturiser, shower cap, flannel) provided. Jackie made us feel very welcome and went the extra mile to make our stay even better! I would definitely stay again.

I booked this stay on behalf of a friend who was impressed with all aspects of my choice. Not only was her en-suite room to a very high standard but the breakfasts a particular delight in terms of choice, portion size and quality of food. She would gladly stay again.

A gem in Ayr

The B&B was a lovely place to stay.The owners are a lovely couple the room we stayed in was really nice,breakfast there was a good choice of fresh fruit and cereals before a cooked breakfast ,The B&B is in an ideal place for local eating places,pubs,and shops and train station. Nice clean house convenient to Ayr town centre. Jackie is friendly and helpful with information on the local area. Beside the guest house is petrol station and bank link machine all very handy.
