Century Casino & Hotel - Central City

"Quirky hotel layout - in a good way. Century old historic bldg with only 24 rooms. Room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated with artwork and dark woods. Very comfortable bed with quality sheets. Bathroom was adequate but very clean. Quality hand soap, shampoo, etc in dispenser. New looking dark carpet. Very little in the way of food in the evening, a big drawback. No live tables or cocktail service, but fairly liberal drink comps at the bar. Overall, the casino was not my favorite, although all staff were nice and helpful. I would return for the delightfully quirky hotel, but not necessarily the casino."

"Signage overall on the property was lacking and overall confusing. Finding the entrance to the hotel from the parking garage was harder than it should have been. Once inside, there is very limited signage on where the hotel area is located. Overall, it was ok. Nothing bad but then nothing great either."

"This was the perfect place for me and my friend to reconnect with Central City Opera memories from 30+ years ago (we were ushers in the 90’s). Beautiful, well-appointed, spacious home - we each had our own comfy bedroom and plenty of room to hang out together in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. We had everything we needed, from copious kitchen things (even a dishwasher!) to history books to menus and guide brochures. Clint helped us out in a moment of need (the shower curtain fell down) - so prompt, kind and responsive. Only challenge for me was it wasn’t as walkable from downtown as we’d hoped. The incline coming up from the opera, combined with the altitude adjustment and lack of sidewalk part of the way, made it almost impossible for me to do on foot. Luckily there’s a free parking garage downtown so we drove back and forth after the first attempt. There are nice outdoor spaces and it’s so quiet and pretty away from town. Would love to stay here again next time I fly out for the opera."

"When we walked in we were blown away. It was large, beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The surrounding landscape was awe inspiring. Kris, Michael and Brandie couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and the tv even had Netflix! And the dogs were friendly and fun to be around. I cannot recommended Quartz Ranch highly enough."
