A pleasant stay
Just for one night on our way to visit family the hotel was very pleasant & set menu dinner was good . We did not have time to use the spar which looked excellent

Amazing “palace” in Asturias. It stands on a hill and the view is one of the best in the world. Wonderful staff too and super clean. Free parking is nice too. The room is very nice with high ceiling

we. recommend the property ,staff & property is excellent . beware to check the room air cinditioner room 105 did not work , they brought us a fan that helped. be sure to reqest a room on the event center side because with the windows open the pack of dogs in the village will keep you ip all night. not just a few barks , howling fighting yelping & barking all night . book this place it is great , just adk gor an event center side room & working air

The property was clean but older. So I saw a couple loose tiles on the ceiling and one in the tub. Decor is a little outdated but the building structure was very pretty.

A real Mirador. The views are very nice, and the hotel is nicely decorated and room is very comfortable. Breakfast is quite basic but overall OK.

Great Hotel
I stopped here for 1 night following a buisness trip in Aviles as it was close to the Airport. The hotel is amazing from the views outside to the grand interior and furnishings insdie. The Restuarant had a good choice and the food was good to an excellent standard. i didn't use the Spa so i cannot comment on that. I am already planning to return with my wife for a long weekend and will defintely stay here again on any future trips.

Nice hotel in Soto del Barco
2nd time at Palacio Magdalena, rooms and spa are nice and dinner delicious like last time. Great place to treat oneself after the camino.

Nice hotel for one day stop in the Cantabric Coast, very good restaurant and staff. Spa services good value and relaxing. Ask for the rooms with the view to the sea, very nice gardens.

Wow, What a great hotel
We arrive to this hotel after a long day of driving. Their reception was very quick and pleasant. We ate in their restaurant for a great and cheap lunch (due to the menu of the day) and later we went to our room. Our room was large and comfortable and had a double bed ( for the first time during our journey). The bathroom was very comfortable and consisted the whole assisting kits. Following our visit in their famous shore (some 15 km), we used this opportunity to enjoy the hot spa inside the hotel. It was a wonderful and relaxing time, following by another great diner in the hotel's restaurant (with using the same menu of the day). Highly recommended

Great hotel in Soto de Barco! I had a nice quiet room in a wing away from others and was able to sleep very well. Nice pool and eucaluptus hammam/sauna complex. Great food at the resto and amazing service. Very nice way to treat myself after finishing the camino! Beautiful wedding held on hotel premises the next day. Oh and amazing sun-downer views of river, sea and hills nearby!

A beautiful 16th century building, immaculate inside, really helpful staff, decent meals and breakfast, though don't go too late for breakfast as it is a fairly small room and if the hotel is busy there isn't enough tables to cater for everyone. Rooms were lovely and clean and the views from the hotel are beautiful! Not much to do within walking distance but surrounding areas are spectacular!

Lovely rooms, wonderful dinner (had the Menu del Dia). Extremely efficient waitress in dining room and excellent chef. Reception helpful. Plenty of parking. Only complaint is that although we had free spa they wanted 10 Euros for two caps to use it|

Buenas calidades pero habitación caliente
El hotel y la habitación están en buen estado y se ven muy bien. La calidad es buena también. El restaurante tiene excelente servicio y el menú estuvo muy rico. Lo que no me gustó es que durante la noche la habitación estaba muy caliente y al poner el aire acondicionado, empecé a estornudar mucho, por lo que tuve que apagarlo. Fuera de la habitación no estaba caliente, así que no se si le dió el sol todo el día o que pasó. Pero, la cosa es que mi noche no fué muy agradable por el calor.

Es un sitio muy tranquilo.. Pero esta descuidado para un hotel de esta categoria. Los albornoces eran muy pequenos y los cinturones estaban a punto de romper completamente.. Pero lo mas desagradable era un olor a fritura o aceite rancia que venia de las cocinas y penetraba en la habitacion.. Posiblemente una senal de que las cocinas no se limpian adecuadamente. De otra manera un sitio agradable.
