    4/5 Good

Perfect location, right in the heart of the historic area. Very caring and responsive staff. My train was delayed and I was arriving later than planned. Staff acted on accommodating last minute going out of their way.

The walls are dirty. The window cannot be shut closed. The stairs are steep and narrow and the steps are creaking. The passage to the stairs looks more like one in a rundown warehouse. Good luck carrying a large up to the room. Not recommended for large people. I wonder how they managed to bring the large mattress up to the room. The thing I like about the property is its location; many restaurants nearby, close to many landmarks, the market and 30-45 minutes walking distance from Gent Sint Pieters train station.

Basic, hostel style room in a central location

If you're looking for somewhere to use as a base and not really spend much time in other than to sleep, this is ideal. The room is very basic and more in keeping with a hostel than a hotel: a (very comfortable) bed, a few shelves and a raised platform with an mdf shower cubicle and a toilet (which obviously doesn't leave any privacy, so you need to be pretty comfortable with your travel partner!). The stairs up to the room are very steep and narrow, so not ideal for anybody with mobility issues. It's less than 5 minutes to walk along the river to the main cafe and shop area, and there are some gorgeous places to eat along the same street (we would recommend Moor & Moor, the cafe that owns the rooms for a tasty and cheap breakfast, and Balls & Glory for a relaxed lunch or dinner). The staff at Moor & Moor were so lovely, and super helpful with our late check-in time.

    Mal servicio

La recepción solo esta abierta unas horas al dia, la ventana de lahabitación estaba abierta cuando llegamos, cuando en la calle estabamos a 5 grados. El wifi no funcionaba. No hay ascensor. La habitación es bonita y limpia
