We didn't stay long so I don't have much to stay. We arrived at 1 am, the room was large, with high ceilings and tall windows with a nice view. Staff was apathetic but maybe they were just tired.
We enjoyed our 4/5 days at the Melia Hotel. We were upgraded to an Executive room at the front of the hotel which was spacious and very clean with a huge bed, well stocked mini bar and surprise, surprise, for a foreign hotel, tea and coffee making facilities. The woman at the front desk knew many languages and was extremely helpful. The room was beautiful and very clean. We felt like we were in Old Europe it was just wonderful charming and quaint. The breakfast was beyond our dreams.
Great location. Very quick from the main train station. Easy walk to all the main sites. Room and bathroom very spacious. Loved to balcony and the door opens!!!!!
Arrived early and checked in immediately. All staff were helpful and friendly. Room large, well furnished and very clean. Attention to detail in every respect excellent. Only downside was the busy street noice but the hotel can not be held responsible for that.
over looking one of the many narrow walkways in the old town,the area below with its shops and buzz are a great introduction to life in the city(but you could have an early call,when some of the shutters go up)a very good location for most things,it is hard to get your bearings at first.
