There was building going on and out side my window there was scaffolding with cigarette butts. Bed was not great and breakfast was average. Staff were pleasant but the hotel is not in a convenient location to transport.

No shuttles on Sundays.
When I booked, I was told there was a free shuttle to the airport. This was important since the hotel isn’t close to the airport. After checking in, I was told there was no shuttle on Sundays which completely defeated the purpose. I was told I could take a taxi for €60 or walk 15 minutes to a bus stop. Otherwise the room was clean and restaurant was good.

Liked: It was inexpensive. Did not like: The hotel is in France, no shuttle service during weekends. We had to pay about $110 Euros to get to the hotel and back. Cab fares are higher during weekends. Real budget hotel with no Air Conditioning and the windows are closed with alarms and cannot be opened. The hotel does not mention that the shuttle service does not exists during weekends and there is no air conditioning. I would not stay here again.

Hotel très correct, même si la chambre manque un peu de services (seulement une serviette, pas de bouteille d'eau ou de café dans la chambre, etc). Petit déjeuner classique et tous les produits n'étaient pas frais du jour. Je recommande, mais c'est plus proche d'un bon 2 étoiles que d'un vrai 3 étoiles.

Not bad for just a few nights. Just like any other hotel. Parking is free on site. Staff were friendly and informative.

Excellent hotel. Comfortable. Quiet. Large TV with an outlet nearby so it's easy to plug in a streaming stick. Nothing nearby so it's only convenient if you have a car.

Ibis shuttle
first shuttle back to hotel is @5pm. The closest Ibis is by airport but the one we booked at much lower rate is actually about 15 min. from airport and in St. Genis Pouilly France

Medical cancelation
I had to cancel my trip due to a last minute medical emergency that would not allow me to fly (documented by my doctor). Because it was a non-refundable booking I was charged for the whole week, which is within their rights. But no consideration given for medical problems beyond my control. I will chose other accommodations for my future stays in the Geneva area and will avoid the ibis chain in other locations around Europe.

Very friendly waiter
Very friendly waiter when we had dinner! And very nice man( manager?) came to ask if we wanted to change room after seeing my comment on hotel.com( i had mentioned the noise of the motorway) but i said it was very kind of him but not necessary. Actually,the room was quiet during the night.Very nice dinner too! We will definetely go back next year when we need to pick up/ drop our children from/to the airport on our ski holiday next year.

Don't stay here unless you have a car
I only booked it because it claimed it had a "free shuttle" from Geneva airport. When I called the day I was arriving I was told there was no shuttle so I had to take a taxi in rush hour that cost 105 euros. Then when I arrived ad asked about the free shuttle, it doesn't start running until 7 am and I had to get to airport by 5:30 am so I had to take another taxi which charged 60 euros. So instead of saving money, staying at this hotel cost more than one closer to the airport. The hotel itself is nice and clean and comfortable and very quiet, but it ended up costing 115 plus the 165 euros for taxis. NOT a good deal. They need to put in more information about the shuttle or lack of shuttle. Hotels.com needs to make the hotel correct the information or at least provide the details about the bus.

they promised to provide free shuttle to the airport. NOT HAPPENED. They said location is 4.2 mil. from the GVA. NOT AT ALL. They are locate in France. You have to pay a lot of fees to go there from and in GVA.

Basic hotel but good value
We love this Ibis for its proximity to Geneva and the surrounding areas, for a great price. As a family of 5 we need 2 rooms and this Ibis has everything we need. The kids love a swim in the new pool after our long car journey, the breakfast and the steak hache, we enjoy an evening drink in the bar and the rooms work for us. It is obviously primarily a business hotel for CERN and the surrounding technology park and therefore it is not picturesque! But it’s convenient, clean and good value. The staff are very accommodating. However I would say that it was not quite as clean and friendly as our stay 2 years ago, but overall v good.

Nice hotel, but not in Geneva, it was in FRANCE!
Decent hotel for those who has time and would like to be far away from the city and airport. Misleading information on Orbitz website cost me additional $100 (to get taxi and drive from Ibis hotel in GVA to Ibis hotel in France). There are 5 different Ibis hotels in that area and only one has shuttle bus (the hotel which is in GVA). Thanks

Nice hotel, strange site
Do not be fooled by on-line listings that place this hotel in Geneva. It is actually in France, approximately 10 kilometers from the Geneva airport and 20 kilometers from downtown Geneva. There is no easy way to either, so taxi rides can be quite expensive. The hotel is a typical Ibis, but is situated in a techno-park with no other facilities, stores or restaurants nearby or within walking distance. But the staff is nice and the usual Ibis standards apply, so except for the location, this hotel is fine.

Hotel is fine. It is located in France, about 5-6 miles from the hotel. Morning traffic was terrible. The hotel driver knew a secondary route or we really would have been late and missed our flight.

Very nice to go to a hotel and know your experience will be very good. The staff actually had a map to help us find a gas station before dropping our car at the airport. Hint: buy gas in France.

The hotel was good overall but my only problem I would say was the location of it. It was quite hard to find it from the bus stop in Malivert at first and also the distance it was from the main road in Saint Genis Pouilly. Yes, it is 10 minutes walk but if you don't know the area at first you will find it difficult, I think this should have been actually explained properly and clarified on the website. It is easy if you have a vehicle but by foot is another story. No complaints about the hotel itself and staff as they were brilliant but if I had known I would have chosen a hotel closer to Geneve town centre.

No tea or coffee in room - staff unhelpful
Room is very clean and very basic - no tea and coffee in the room but has a nice pool. Staff aren't helpful at all and everything is very very overpriced, one bottle of water 5euros.. the lunch menu is pretty awful and over priced. This hotel is for people who literally want to sleep/shower as everything else is either missing or poor. Has good internet connection and secured parking. Very comfortable bed and room is cleaned everyday.

Avoid this hotel unless you have a car!
When booking the hotel, a shuttle service from the airport was offered. It transpires that no such service is available and you have to catch a service bus - try that at nearly midnight on a Sunday night! That resulted in a taxi fare of over 50 Euros. Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you have a car or are prepared to walk for 15 minutes from the nearest bus stop on a route which is very unclear. The hotel would not allow the booking to be changed or refunded even though it is supposedly part of the Ibis chain.

Amazing views
Bit of a drive up the mountain but was worth it for the stunning views . The Hotel is used as a Ski Lodge in the window and maybe could do with a slight refurb . Ate in the restaurant which was fine and had a lovely bottle of the Gamay which was locally produced . Would return if only for the views !
