My Mum and I purchased this little cottage back in 2010 from the sons of its original owner. The house was in its original 1910 condition before we renovated it and had it as a rental until FEB 2020 when we decided to embark on the hosting adventure.

Our Cottage is conveniently located within walking distance to GMHBA Stadium, South Geelong train station, Geelong CBD and the beautiful waterfront hosting a number of incredible cafes and restaurants . Be sure to checkout the hip Lt Malop Street precinct and surrounding art galleries.

A short drive will see you heading down the surf coast and Great Ocean Road, making our Cottage the perfect location to enjoy all that The Greater City of Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula has to offer.

The cottage has two bedrooms and accommodates 6 comfortably: A queen bed in the main with enough space to have a Porta cot or bassinet upon request. The second bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds. The house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, oven, cook top, coffee machine, microwave and many more appliances. A high chair is available for families to use along with kids utensils, plates, bowels and cups.

If traveling with a baby we can also supply a baby bath and change mat, rocker, play mat and pram upon request. an additional fee may be required for some of the items to cover cleaning cost.

Outside you can relax in the garden whilst utilising the BBQ.

Quality linen and towels, slippers are supplied along with toiletries and hair drier. The laundry has a washing machine with powder, dryer, ironing board, iron, clothing rack and basket.

In the lounge room you will find kids toys and books, adult reading and family games. We have unlimited free wifi with the use of NETFLIX, STAN and DISNEY PLUS.

Take a short stroll to the Barwon river or a 25 minute stroll to the botanical gardens, play grounds or the salt water swimming pool.

An amazing host and a beautiful home

Miranda is a truly remarkable host. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay - and I can't thank her enough. After getting hopelessly lost driving to Geelong from Melbourne airport (I'm not native to Victoria), the chilled bottle of wine in the fridge was a welcome sight - and indicative of how Miranda thinks of everything to make your stay comfortable. The cottage itself has been beautifully renovated, and is very comfortable. The street is quiet, with lots of parking, and it's within walking distance to some great cafes and pub bistros. We meant to explore the beaches of Geelong a lot more but it was so lovely sitting in the cottage garden with wine and nibblies that we really didn't venture far. This is a wonderful cottage with everything you need to relax and unwind.

Great Location, Great cottage

A great cottage on the edge of Geelong CBD. Good communications from the owner throughout. Plenty of linen was a positive and plenty of little extras which were appreciated. We would book again in the future!

A beautiful cozy home away from my home.

Miranda & Anne is the most thoughtful, gracious host. The communication was super easy and quick. They even surprised us with a pamper package. I love this beautiful cottage. I felt at home. The location was great. The bed was super comfy and clean. This place is a gem! Location is perfect, close to shops, restaurants and beach. We just loved every minute of our visit. Thank you to Miranda & Anne for being a superb host and for sharing your beautiful cottage. We highly recommend it and will definitely let our friends know. We shall be back. :-)

Home away from home

It is just what we need. Highly recommended for small families. The location is perfectly tucked in a quiet neighborhood with essentials and great food places within minutes away. Wuick walk to the eastern beach but also to other neighbouring beach areAs. The owner is also very caring and made sure you feel comfy during your stay.

Geelong getaway

It was a cosy and comfortable house for our short getaway in Geelong. The house has all the things we need for our family of 5. The kids loved the Christmas decorations, books and toys. The location is close to amenities and we will definitely stay again.
