Take a break from your busy life for some quality relaxation at this oceanfront condo in Gearhart, with nothing between you and the beach except a 3 minute walk across the dunes, directly in front of the condo. With a comfortable living space, modern kitchen, and restful views, this single-level condo provides optimal sleeping arrangements for four. Recreational opportunities abound, with a nice path leading directly to the ocean and a vast stretch of sand for walking or running, and the renowned Gearhart Golf Course is a short walk away. The condo boasts plenty of light coming through the skylights and picture windows looking towards the dunes and the ocean. The main open room features a central kitchen with living, dining, and a work area surrounding it. The two bedrooms each have a bathroom next to them, with direct access to a sun patio on the east side of the condo. The chef in the group will be in heaven in this kitchen, and always part of the action while preparing meals behind the island. Full amenities include a dishwasher and ice maker in the refrigerator door, a blender, and a cocktail shaker. There’s a wall oven behind the island, with the stovetop (gas) and microwave nearby. For the baker, there’s a hand mixer, a rolling pin, a cake pan, and pie pans. Everyone will enjoy a meal together at the dining table with seats for eight, and maybe a board game afterward for a fun-filled, relaxing night. Several different seating groups in the living area let you get comfy so you can have socialize or have private conversations or delve into one of the books on the shelves. A flatscreen TV on the wall allows you to catch up on your latest shows. A desk in a private corner at the other end of the room makes catching up on work a breeze, with high-speed internet provided for your convenience. With two bedrooms and two full baths, this condo is comfortable for up to four guests. One bedroom features a queen bed, the other offers a king bed. There is a queen sofa bed in the living room if necessary. Both full bathrooms have stand-up showers. Take your coffee outside to enjoy the morning sun on the east patio amid the lush garden, and take your evening drink out to the dunes where you can admire a vibrant sunset from benches established there, and listen to the sound of the surf! This condo is perfect for a couples retreat or a small family. With the sand so close, you'll be able to spend all day building sandcastles, flying kites, and playing in the surf, heading back to the house for snacks and coming right back out. You'll find golf just a 4-minute walk from the house at Gearhart Golf Links and shared tennis and basketball courts are about a mile from the house. Though Gearhart may be small, it offers a few amazing dining options, including the Pacific Way Bakery & Cafe. For more fun, drive the five miles south to Seaside, where you'll enjoy an aquarium, an arcade, rides for the kids, a variety of eateries, art galleries, and shops galore. The Carousel Mall is especially fun. Or continue exploring up and down the coast, with Astoria, Cannon Beach, and the fabulous Oregon state parks perfect for an afternoon’s adventure. Takes you 2 minutes to walk to the beach! Close driving distance to great towns like Seaside and Astoria! We recommend checking out the Indian costal trail abiut 20 minutes out, spectacular views, about 4 miles there and back. You should also check out the Cathedral trail and Column in Astoria where you can throw a wooden plane off a tower! We also recommend going to the Sandtrap bar thats another 2 minute walk from the property and Grandmas Corner for a good hearty breakfast! The Silver Salmon in Astoria had some of the best clam chowder and Salmon cakes we have ever had! It was so quiet & peaceful we felt like we were the only people around. The condo ,although a bit dated ,is nice with lots of large windows . The kitchen was nice with pretty much everything you will need. We love the easy 3 minute walk to the beach also the easy walk to the Gearhart Golf Course. ##### Danette R. For the cost of this dump i want a total refund. Couch destroyed by an animal with an inch of dust layered on top Of the couch, we had to throw sheets over the couches because they were disgusting to sit on. Broken lamps, dirty floors, ants in the flour and sugar jar. I even had to go to the dollar store to buy BOWLS for one of our meals. Silverware/dishes wasn’t washed. Take this POS off vrbo, vacasa is a joke and I’m still battling for a refund. The location is wonderful, and it’s a quick walk to the beach. However, we were surprised by the lack of cleanliness and the condition of the furniture. Most surfaces were dusty, the windows were clearly smudged with handprints, and there were hairs in the beds and on the towels. We also ended up having to throw out some of our food after the first night as it was overtaken by ants. (It wasn’t left wide open, just normal countertop snacks in the containers). The furniture is definitely worn and ripped up too. Overall, it was a still a good little spot for the location, but could easily be improved with better housekeeping and care. ##### Addie M. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked for prepping, cooking and baking including cookbooks! Patio chairs and extra blankets for relaxing out in the patio. Quiet during our entire stay. Gearhart is close to Seaside but offers a much slower pace of vacation life!
