Generally very good hotel, but standard rooms are hardly 5 stars, rather 4 maximum. Breakfast was disappointing.
On the positive side, the hotel's location is perfect if you want to be close to old town, there is reasonably good swimming pool, sauna and steam room on the top floor.
Great location for public transport and exploring both the old town and solidarity centre. Ask for a room on a high floor overlooking the old town - excellent view. A couple of items in the room did not work but we chose not to report them because we didn't want to move and lose our view! They were only minor issues, overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.
I arrived at 12 PM at the hotel.
Service a the desk was firnedly and efficient.
My room was locatd on the th floor. To my surprise, the elevator went until the 4th floor. Both the lift and the stairs stoped at that level.
I had to go back to reception to ask how to get to my room. After 7 hours of traveling, I could have missed this.
Beside this, all fine, nice breakfast and overall friendly staff, all speaking good English.

„Hotel Gdansk” is a 4**** boutique hotel in the center of Gdansk, just next to the Yacht Marina. This exceptional place is an …More
We stayed in room 115. Was very quiet at weekends but 2 nights on weekdays the noise from rubbish being taken out of hotel at 4 in the morning was very annoying. I would definately stay here again but ask for a room on a higher floor
That hotel is just seems to have been finished two months ago: all the elements of the room (furnitures, decoration, bathroom) were just in absolutely perfect condition. The AC was working perfectly and was quiet. The house keeping was perfect, very efficient (room cleaned up in two hours without a particular request to get it done fast).
The location is perfect: the train station is across the street, the Old Town 10 mn walk away. Do not ne concerned by the busy street: noise insulation is incredible.
I did not have breakfast or dinner in the restaurant, but they re-opened the bar and found me croissants at 3 pm, even if I was the only customer.
Staff is adorable, smiling, helpful, but not intrusive.
Overall, this is a superb value hotel with a tag price very low compared to what it offers to its customers.
I will certainly stay there at my next trip to Gdansk.
Stayed in Gdansk for 4 nights and decided to book into Aparthotel Neptun due to the excellent reviews, good price and central location. I was very impressed with the Hotel as it was a few minutes walk to most of the attractions to Gdansk yet in a side street to avoid most of the noise. The room was comfortable and very clean with a good sized bed. Shower and bathroom facilities were excellent. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable- though no toast provided there was a continental style choice and cooked eggs available. It was excellent value for money- budget price for really a good mid range style hotel. The small downside is that there appeared to be no air conditioning in the room which was okay due to the time of year I was staying but perhaps a issue for summer months. There was also some noise on some of the nights due to its central location but this was not too bad.
I would recommend this hotel and recommend a stay in Gdansk itself- a very interesting and picturesque city.
On the southern edge of Gdansk Bay right on the Baltic Sea, Gdansk is known as the capital of Pomerania. To get an idea of the history of this city, visitors just need to look at the Town Hall standing proudly against the skyline of the Old Town. The painted houses along the Royal Way, the Green Gate, and the Four Quarters Fountain will do the rest.
