Bloc Hotel definitely met the expectations that I had, based on the pictures I’d seen. The rooms, which aren’t really the biggest, definitely make up for with the cleanliness and upkeep. The shower room was fabulous and spacious. Towels and hand wash + body wash were provided. I wasn’t aware of the provision of WiFi in the rooms and this wasn’t mentioned to me during check in, perhaps because I did not ask about it. What I would really say has scope for improvement is the information provided at check in. The restaurant offers, which I accept are available as a booklet within the room, could perhaps be mentioned during check in? I was very hungry and literally dropped my bag off in the room after check in and went to get food, and missed out on a discount on my order. As something Bloc Hotel prides itself in offering, perhaps this is something guests could be made aware of when they check in? Another suggestion is that you could perhaps have a small kettle for tea/coffee to be prepared in the room, rather than having to run to Costa/Starbucks/Cafe Nerro every time. Apart from that, climate control in the room, the comfortable bed etc made my stay a lovely one, and I would definitely come back to stay at Bloc Hotels if the need arises :-)

We’ve stayed at the BLOC Hotel Gatwick before but would not choose the bunk bed arrangement again. Too difficult getting in and out of upper bunk. Otherwise this is a great place to eat at Gatwick Airport.

Compact, but very clean and highly convenient. Straight inside Gatwick South, starting on 3rd floor by security/departures.

The staff at the front desk could not find our Expedia booking and with two young and tired children this was extremely unpleasant. The family room which we booked was EXTREMELY small and unpleasant to stay in. The location was excellent however.

Was a good hotel for a night stay at the airport, smaller sized room but don't need a whole lot for one night, nice washrooms with big rain shower head.

The control panel in our room failed so that when we got up in the morning we couldn't raise the blind and had no lights, so had to try and get ready/pack in darkness. We received no reply when we rang Reception or left a WhatsApp message. Very disappointing indeed.

Fist time staying at this hotel, everything was much more than expected.

The bed was comfortable. The space is tiny but we were only sleeping overnight for a flight so that was fine. The floor creaked and moved significantly, not something I have ever experienced in any hotel before. The bathroom is frankly oddly designed being basically a wet area shower with a toilet. Special consideration has had to be given to keeping the toilet rolls from becoming sodden, but not as to where to put the towels to keep them dry or off the floor. For our purposes it was adequate but nothing more.

There was no reservation for us even though we booked the night before and had a reference number and so this was quite disappointing and after some confusion & time they eventually checked us in but it was quite worrying.
